it was unenthusiastic because the screens went black and it seemed bland. Now that the tour is over and I've seen other S&Sweet opeinings through youtube- I can see why it wasn't so "WOW" from the start. It didn't matter that much: that night: the weather was beautiful, the show was great and I was close to the stage with my friends. I had the time of my life and loved it.

yeah, the backdrops weren't working and neither were the two side screens. Her guitar was faulty, and they had to run in with a substitute as well...it was the 2nd show of the tour...so we were prepared for teething problems

yup. the screens got fucked up during part of Candy Shop, and the screen issue continued throughout the entire show. you even hear madonna say "oh dear" right after she finishes performing Candy Shop, noticing the screen problem. the Nice audience wasn't very enthusiastic by the time the show was done. the screens are integral to the show and since they kept fucking up, i think it ruined the show on some level for a lot of those in the audience.

Madonna is a hasbeen.... she cant come up with anything new. Confessions on a Dancefloor was a huge Kylie rip off..that was Madonna putting on her best Kylie suit.

Confessions was a lot better, that's true. I think this is one of the worst from her. I think her mistake was trying to be liked by young people. When she do pop or dance music she is the best, but when she do other kind of music (like the music she is doing now), she is not the best, she is just one more of them and I don't like that (most of u probably agree with me). I havent been to her concert yet. Im sure it will rock but musically I agree with Thirdsword, Confessions was pure electricity. Madge will always be Queen in my book but when it comes to this Timberland/Lake territory I feel like 'I heard it all before'. Not that Im bagging her current music, it is good but I prefer her dance roots. Just because Hard Candy is radio friendly doesnt mean its her best work. Confessions was a signature album and a supreme effort.

J'étais aussi au concert en pelouse OR, mais il est difficile de te répondre car le stade de Nice est beaucoup plus petit que celui de Saint Denis, aussi en arrivant relativement tard (une heure avant), on pouvait avoir une très bonne place, mais ce ne sera pas la même chose à Paris.

Bon show, j'espère que les problèmes techniques seront corrigés et son oreillette mieux réglée (ce qui évitera qu'elle chante une demi ton en dessous !)
