@Trigger2002. Defo a great place to go me and my gf went last year and are going back this year in September, recommend the altamadores hotel in amadores. Book through thomas cook to, great prices for two weeks all inc. amadores is the better of the two resorts as it is verry verry quite but only 2 mins around in puerto rico at the other side of a cliff the nightlife is great (very little chav infestation).
Is this a good place for young couples looking for somewhere to go with my girlfriend for our first holiday i wanted to go somewhere like cancun but we going to do that when we can save up more. lots of things to do and a decent nightlife without 17 year old british chavs allover ?
i've been twice to the gran amadores, it was brilliant but if i was ever going back i would try to go to playa del ingles cause there are far to many hills in puerto rico as i have walking difficulties, but i prefer puerto del carmen in lanzarote.
@johnnybabes2003 Hi. You're right, some parts of this were taken from Bahia Blanca. It's a lovely resort and even better now that the apartments are being upgraded.
hi i lived in the vally barranco el platerro for 10 months and loved it, that was about 9 years ago they were in the process of doing the golf couse , we are going back for christmas ,wish i still lived there miss the people in the vally it a fab fab place and im in my 63 year so you dont have to be young to enjoy

Our apartment looked down on the beach and was just over 300 steps from the beach

Just got back from here last week, 34 deg c then back to 1 deg c !! Beach is rough sand tho. Still go back, time after time.
