One of the Cantor initiatives that would go a long way in the creation of new jobs is the Republican proposal to eliminate the death tax. If we would stop taxing inheritances of $5 million plus, we'd free up a considerable amount of capital that would then be invested in job creating enterprises. Here in Alabama, most people support an end to the death tax precisely for its job creation potential. I imagine the same is true in other states. Cantor needs to bring up this issue more often.
