  • it luke skywalkers voice

  • troll face

  • *sigh* if only there was a Gotham city...

  • 0:11 What show is that from?!

  • @FreeButtSex it was the the new batman adventures. it was some episode called "legends of the dark knight"

  • Makes sense why the Joker is the antithesis of Batman. Batman stands for moral codes and character and sometimes he has to break a few rules to live up to that. The Joker dismisses everything what Batman fights for, and break rules just for the hell of it.

  • jokers hair is freaking GREEN

  • @ALPHABET5617 Nothing gets past you does it.

  • doesnt mark hamill do the joker voice in batman arkham asylum and batman arkham city

  • I dont care what he look like as long as he still look like a clown and still as he funny as he ever be.

  • Is there a name for that background music at the start?

  • I still liked the joker when he tried to intentionally kill someone.

and his old design is better. the new one, kinda loses some of his charm and personality

  • @zorokicksass60 at least he looked better in Batman Beyond Return of the Joker and Justice League

  • Good bye Mark Hamill

    We loved your joker voice

  • 1:03 "THERES NOTHING HISTROICAL ABOUT BATS AND CLOWNS" well there is now ! >:))

  • Andrea Romano totally looks like Barbara from Batman Beyond. how cool is that?

  • Heath Ledger: Best live-action Joker ever

Mark Hamill: Best cartoon-animated Joker ever

  • @creedjeremy couldn't agree more!

  • @creedjeremy: thus why the aa games are great; they've the look of nolan's films with the voices of btas

  • I prefer the joker's old design.

  • To be any kind of joker you need to have the laugh, Mark Hamil invented the laugh.

  • Hamill has the animated Joker...Ledger has the live action. No contest. I personally prefer Hamill, but I can't deny Ledger's interpretation either. Both of them play into different incarnations of the Joker.

  • @arabhero10 Amen to that.

  • Mark. Hamill. IS. The. Joker. Period.

  • Comment removed

  • Mark Hamill is The Joker. Heath Ledger is overrated.

  • Joker is the best villain of all time and also he is my personal favorite! :D

  • I love Mark Hamill as Joker! When I was a little kid and I first heard his Joker laugh it made me shudder, and gave me nightmares! Now I love watching Batman and especially love watching Joker!

  • Mark hamill re-invented the joker voice Heath ledger re-invented the joker "face" and pyschology

  • i din't like the new design

  • mark will always be the joker

  • And yet they don't explain why they redesigned his eyes like that.

  • specificly 1:21...can't find this episode

  • @Krucek6666 That clips from Holiday Knights. Basically a holiday episode set up with 3 different stories.

  • @Krucek6666 hoilday knights

  • Comment removed

  • has anyone thw whole list of episodes used in this video?

  • 0:22 god that sounds like Jack Benny!!!

  • marry me!

  • Did he really never kill anyone in the show? Well, he at least tried to on numerous occasions and does murder a couple people in the animated movies. Seems like you can't have that in today's cartoons.

  • can someone tell me which batman animation is this?

  • @Supergirl101kickbutt Read the description...

  • Mark Hamil is probably better at playing VILLAINS than heroes. Right?

  • @NaiTaiDai I dunno, I did like Luke.

  • just for the record... how many times has the joker died in that series?

  • @mutalord That's actually an on going thing in the comics, they love to put him in things that should've killed him, then he somehow survives.

  • @SakuraAvalon Plus if Joker ever stayed dead, the series would die with it. I personally believe you can judge the quality of a Batman series by the quality of its Joker. Comic Joker takes the lead position, being truly frightening and psychotic. TaS's Joker with Mark Hamill is a close second, being very similar to comic Joker, but watered down for children's television. Then after an honorable mention for Heath Ledger, pretty much every other Joker is kinda shit.

  • here's my card!!!

  • Why'd they redesign his face in The New Adventure series?

  • @steveclips because of the Superman series, so they updated the art to match it

  • @rockinjoker07 Well I think it was kinda silly how they redesigned him without the lips back then. Glad they changed him back during the Justice League Series and Return of the Joker.

  • Let the good times roll!

  • This is my favorite version of Mr.J :P

  • i loved the old designs of the batman villians. i never liked the revamped ones, especially the joker, catwoman, penguin, and poison ivy. the joker lost his ruby red lips and creepy eyes, catwoman's ears and eyes were overly gigatic, the "mutated" penguin seemed more like an actual villian, and poison ivy's white skin just looks weird. she's human being for christ sakes! overall, the old ones were more realistic and dark, while the new ones became more cartoonish and childish. thats my opinion.

  • @alexpiccirillo1 Ivy isn't supposed to be portrayed as a human being. She's supposed to be an otherworldly force of nature. Hence the white skin.

Penguin was also supposed to be turning his life around in TNBA. That's why he opened the Iceberg Lounge. However, he still does underworld dealings in it.

  • 2:15. Red Skull and Captain America. Superman and Lex Luthor.

  • @omniversedefenders

    Joker>Red Skull+Lex Luthor

  • If you really anaylze the relationship between Batman and The Joker, they're really the same with what they do. Batman's psychotic in the positive sense, because he's using his fear to inflict apprehension into his enemies in the configuration of a nightmarish Bat to establish true justice. While The Joker's utilizing his own insanity to inflict grief, anguish, and chaos into others from what he perceives to be "True Justice" or Anarchism. Essentially, they're both a paradox upon the other.

  • what episode is that at 0:52? because i think batman knocks him into a smoke stack dosen't he?

  • @bujilou Mad Love, episode 21 of The New Batman Adventures

  • @blacky777 where can i watch these episodes?

  • @bujilou tough to find online for free, try dailymotion or alluc. Better yet they are on itunes to buy.

  • 0:27 that doesn't look like harley

  • @Rani1597 she was a replacement for harley, but it didn't work out

  • @monkeymuchacho I remember that. She was sh!t at driving the boat. 0.o

  • Why in the revamped animation did they get rid of his awesome red lips? that's one of his trademarks.

  • if read the kiling joke , you will know joker is innecent

  • @85xorn how?

  • is it me? or is the joker at 0:19 from batman brave and the bold?

  • @MegaBatzilla it was a tribute episode, can't remember the name though.

  • I LOVED Hamill's New England accent as the Joker.

  • this was definatly the best version of the joker

  • mark hamill- greatest hero of the galaxy greatest villain of all time

  • Luke Jokewalker

  • Mark Hamil IS the Joker.

  • I have some full episodes from the animated series check them out

  • I hate clowns too.

  • I agree with Bruce Timm, clowns give me the willies

  • The first design was better.

  • @ATEnhancedPictures yeah, I agree with you. I cant stand his inverted eyes.

  • @jcudal32 That and he has NO RED LIPS!!!!!!

  • Interesting fact: The voice of the Joker (Mark Hammel) is also Luke Skywalker.. Who would have thought he could pull this off.

  • @ThePotguiver WELL DONE.

  • that design was so ugly...

  • @andywattbulb You should see him in "Static Shock" and the "Justice Legue" series, he looks even uglier.

They gave him red Pupils. O.o

  • @OneTailedTerror1 What you didn't like justice league design. i thought that was the best

  • @david2000magic It was his red eyes, and sinister, demonic smile that shocked me. Everytime I saw that version I'd think: "Is Joker a demon now?" O.o

I know their goal was to make Joker more threatening. I just think they may have added too much of the monsterous killer and removed too much of the harmless prankster. (This is just my opinion).

I'm not a big fan of Joker. Joker's cool, but I'm just not that into him. I'm more of a Two-Face and Scarecrow fangirl.

  • Thank you so much T^T I love this.

  • Damn, someone should video Mark Hamill doing the Joker voice just so we can see it.

  • 0:02 Now, Joker, if you mess up your club like that, you won't be able to hit Batman with it later!

  • o.o that giving the people the joker grin is creepy

  • Incredible voice acting!

  • 1:03 nothing historical with clowns and bats, this is history with clowns and bats

  • Mark Hamil. Best Joker. EVAH!!

  • @SpankSandwitch99

Yeah, it was real inspired. If you would have said you thought Mark Hamil would make a good Joker before I heard him I would have laughed. He just doesn't seem the type. But he really nailed the part! He is even better than Jack Nicholson and way ahead of Heath Ledger.

  • the version of joker from the earlier seasons looked better

  • @FiswaT agreed but i like the poison ivy in this one better :P

  • @thegotchigogo I didn't really care too much for the changeup for her, i was cool with both, i guess the later version is a bit better imo

  • @FiswaT yah i alway thought poison ivy should be really pretty and i just think that her lips and hair were better in the new ones but i do enjoy the old ones

  • @thegotchigogo Yeah, no doubt, she's supposed to be amongst the sexiest of characters!

  • @FiswaT yah the joker in this one dosent look like they tryed as hard there was more detail in the old ones they upgraded every one but in my eyes they kinda downgraded the joker lol

  • 2:18 Pwnd

  • they made all the characters terrible in this series

  • Did you know that originally, Tim Curry was going to voice the Joker?

  • It just isn't a Batman show/series unless Joker appears!

  • Joker be nimble, Joker be quick, Joker kicks Batman right in the dick.

  • 1:20

Joker looks good in that referee shirt, maybe his alter ego used to work at foot locker

  • let the good times roll

  • Everyone loves The Joker

  • @Anilucard1 there is no batman without joker. if the joker not on batman TV shows ,then that show is lame

  • Comment removed

  • i think ill die by a joker grin i think itll be less painful :D

  • Besides The Joker. what other Batman villains do you like?

  • @LazyFilmMaker scarecrow, mr freeze and two face

  • @LazyFilmMaker I like a lot of the villains, but Joker would be joined in my Top 5 by Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Bane and Two-Face.

  • Anybody know the Batman cartoon with Joker at 0:12?

  • @TFUltimateBumblebee Is it "Many Faces of The Dark Knight?" (it's been forever since I've seen it)

I forget the exact title, it's about three kids discussing their ideas of "the real" Batman, and The Joker at 0:12 is a homage to the Golden Age Joker as designed by artists like Jerry Robinson & Dick Sprang and also the Adam West Batman TV series.

  • @cha5 legends of the dark knight

  • @MrBassem95 Thanks for the information, I knew it was something Dark Knight.

I wonder if Warner has released this season of Batman on DVD yet?

  • I disagree with the commenter. The Joker is not happy for all his laughter. The man is a homicidal maniac and they are never happy. Happy people don't go completely insane in that way. Someone that violent has a LOT of anger. I think he hates himself, life and the world. His laughter is a way for him to cover that up, particularly to himself.

  • As odd as it might sound...

In a just world--the Joker and Batman would be at it FOREVER.

It's THE BEST game of cat--er, Bat--and mouse!

  • u know i never noticed this but were was catwoman in this series?

  • @adsweaty She was in a couple of episodes

  • @PaulAnt2008 oh really? thanks for remnding me i must have forgotten

  • what's the name of the song opening ??????????

  • i hate this joker. hes cold and not as "clown who plays JOKES" like.

hes more evil and never shows affection to anyone. hes mean to harley, but with the other joker in TAS he would sometimes show his love for her in small amounts

  • dude he kils joker at the end

  • The jokers philosophy is that life's a big joke. batman's philosophy is that life is sacred. that's why there polar opposites.

  • the joker sounds NOTHING like luke skywalker.......

  • the villians really like tommy guns in this batman series :)

  • @priv8cinemon yeah they do

  • @priv8cinemon its a mafia fave

  • I like the design of him in this one, along with the design in volume 1,2 and 3. Well, I love em all ;-) the all seem to go with Harley really nicely as well ^_^

  • i did not liek the new design of him

  • BRUCE wayne and TIMM drake

    Bruce Timm

  • The characters Batman Comics are awesome: The Joker, Two-Face, Ra's al Ghul, are complex characters and very interesting and very different issues: The Joker represents the chaos, Two Face the subverted justice, etc ... The quality of the villains determines the quality of the hero and Batman is definitely great, because behind of all that darkness, lies the great humanity that he has.

  • I hate all clowns in the world! I damn them all to hell!

    .

    .

    Except for THIS ONE!! <3 <3 <3

  • I fucking HATE this rendition of the Joker. It's such an insult the way they designed him here, making him look like Freakazoid...

  • Wasn't the Joker Venom the way Joker murdered people?

  • @NaiTaiDai yeah I think your right. At least if its left in your blood too long. Joker had a lot of ways to kill people.

  • man all the redesigns are god awful. All they did was give him big black things for eyes. I guess they thought eyes were a bad thing. It's not like we want to be able to read the malice or insanity or anything in them. No we like nice black blank slates at all times.

  • Is Mark Hamill the voice of The Joker in the Batman:Arkham Asylum video game? Geez, I love his laugh...

  • @XMisterXPumpkinX yes he is :D kinda crap he's no longer voicing him after Arkham City :(

  • why did batgirl and nightwng just walk away from joker without doing anything

  • @SuperMicklovin @SuperMicklovin In the episode, "Joker's Millions," one of Joker's enemies, (a Mob Boss), dies and gives Joker all of his money. Then Joker wipes his criminal record clean. So, they can't do anything unless Joker does something crime related first. -To those that have seen the episode; I have seen the episode and knows what happens. I just don't want to say anything more about it to spoil it all for those that haven't seen the episode yet. :)

  • @Pandora6767 oh i wanna c that

  • @SuperMicklovin check out sashbtas's channel

  • @Batsareawesome55 already seen it

  • dont worry folks im still on the air!!!!

  • The best Joker ever is Mark Hamill. I've seen others but Mark is the best. I know he was Luke Skywalker but since I watched Batman more than Star Wars. I'll forever know him more as the Joker. Best laugh at the end of the animated movie World's Finest.

  • @179107199999 hi there joker is the best i say

  • "i don't theres another situation in pop culture where the super villain and hero are just so black and white"

Hello Super man and Lex luthor

  • @GearShotgun Not to the same level as Batman and Joker.

Luthor has teamed up with Superman.

  • @GearShotgun theres also spy vs spy i mean there just plain black and white lol

  • If Wakko was human and maniacal, I think he would be the Joker.

  • You can't spell Mark Hamill without "arkham".

  • @MiHiVidz my god you're right!

  • whats the name of the song that plays at the beginning?

  • Forget clowns! Baby Doll is starting to creep me out!

  • Batman vs. The Joker equals the ultimate rivalry.

    Light vs. Dark.

Law-Enforcement vs Anarchy, and so on.

Like I previously said the franchise wouldn't be as successful as it is without an Antagonist (Villain) like The Joker.

  • Despite the fact that there are many other popular antagonists in the Batman franchise such as Two-Face, The Riddler, Harley-Quinn, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, etc. Batman is nothing without The Joker. The Joker is perhaps the most widely recognized Villain not only in Batman comics, but practically in all comics.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Christopher Nolan had produced an animated form of The Dark Knight including Heath Ledger's perception of "The Homicidal Maniac".

    R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

  • bruce timm looks like the old batman guy

  • ''nothing historical about clowns and bats''???i think there is bats have always been feared as vampires and clowns have always been loved to make children happy so...

  • @AntiGDYB That's not the dichotomy tho. Batman is the unknown and Joker is the evil clown. both are archetypes and contradict one another

  • @AntiGDYB I think what he means is that there is no historical relationship between clowns and bats. As in real life, there is no reason for a bat and a clown to hate each other.

  • @animalchandler ooh ok

  • So much better than the jamaican looking joker from the batman.i prefer the this series than the original it much darker.

  • @TheChrispotter123 The Batman Joker is not that much intimidating.

  • batman the animated series was the best not this

  • which batman series was it that the joker said mother always said i had talent. i know it looks like the one from batman the brave and the bold but its not so can ANYONE tell me which cartoon it was PLEASE?

  • @onetoknowall its batman the animated series bu after the reboot and they got artits who did the superman show thats why it looks so kiddy.

  • @onetoknowall that was a one shot ep of New Adventures where three kids are telling Batman stories. Incidentally, one features a version of Dark Knight Returns with the girl Robin with the big hair and funky glasses

  • @onetoknowall It was an episode of The New Batman Adventures called "Legends of the Dark Knight". Three kids tell different stories of Batman, and different animation styles and voice actors (including Michael "Darkseid/Sam Fisher" Ironside as Batman in one of them) are used for each story.

  • mark hammel needs to never die and do the joker voice forever!!
