Things GM have stole from SAAB:

The Epsilon II platform (SAAB mods to fit FWD and AWD), the biofuel engines and the turbo engines.

Things they've done to SAAB:

Kept them from releasing their own tech first. Killed 4 models (with tech rumored being used in other GM models). Had them buy their own tech at extremely high prices from GM Europe and Opel.

GM is dead. Long live SAAB.

I was just looking at the new Opel Insignia Turbo thinking: that car is a new version of the SAAB 9-3. Note the shape, including a hatchback (like the classic 900, and NG900), turbo-charged engines, and the 3- spoke steering wheel looks like it was yanked from a SAAB.

Driving has never been a issue for SAABs, the baltic 900 look and generic GM design have. It's always been a great driving car with high milage and alert, compact engines.

This will have a 300 bhp V6 and 260 bhp V4. :)

I believe crash test requirements(weight) have killed Honda performance cars. If you look at TSX, it's clear Honda is struggling to make a chassis that either rides or handles well, but there's still hope.
