Don't you have an aux input on your Alpine deck? Because if you do, then I don't know why you would use a FM transmitter. The aux would give you much better audio quality.
@pedrodezz I had a Dual player but yes I have an AUX on the Dual player and I now use the AUX to transmit sound and use the Flex Pod as a stand and a charger. But I was doing the review of the FM Transmitter so I had to show the people how the FM Transmitter worked.
@WirelessHotShot Well, i am very curious as to what the frequency range is. My radio goes down to 87.7 and i want to know if the system can do that too
@WirelessHotShot So there is no way to get the transmitter to transmit at 87.9? Because that would be best. It doesnt come with international mode setting?
i got this item, too, and have had inconsistent results. on my iphone 3g, everything worked fine. with my girlfriend's 3gs, no hands free phone feature. now i have an iphone 4, and not all features work. for example if pandora is playing and you try to go out to check email, music shuts off....
@suizen13 I don't know anything about an iPhone 4 and this product. So just follow the instructions and if that doesn't work, call them or email them to see if there are any troubleshooting methods. And this product was made before the iPhone 4, so it might not be compatible.
@edgar5001 As long as you have a nice stereo it is loud. Think of plugging your iPod into a home stereo; you have the volume on the device and the volume on the system.
@gwjohnson35 I don't know but once I find out, I'll be sure to tell you. My guesses is that the phone will not set in the stand sturdily. I will try to find out for you.
@gwjohnson35 Sorry for the late reply but I've tested this with a regular otterbox case and you can fit the phone and case in the craddle, but the pin connector is very hard to put in. The weight of the otterbox may cause the Flex-Pod to fall over.

Does it come with an auxilary jack? If so, can I connect MP3 players through the 3.5mm cable and transmit it that way?
