Well I would recommend Gibson (not cheap Gibson) some people like Dean, Ovation and of course Ibanez. Ibanez does make good guitars they just cost a lot more than their popular ones. That is why most people have Ibanez, they have a huge price variety. I bought a cheap Player pack that came with an amp and a electric acoustic and that cost me like $250. It looks and feels nice but I can't seem to play it very well, but when I pull out my little Montana ;0 I can play that thing
