Why didn't the bus captain stop them? There are even advertisements on the buses saying there should be no abuse on the bus. Bus captain probably don't take curry.

I guess we do not pretend that racism do not exist in Singapore. It does and it happens all the time, minutely, implicitly, but yes, still there niggling and nudging our senses from time to time. As we can see from the classified advertisements from time to time where only chinese speaking candidates are allowed certain jobs, friends fielding derogative jokes about other races, parents objecting to inter-racial relationships/marriages, and so on.

@TheSensationalMusic But they don't ALWAYS offer their seats. Have you seen the way they grab seats on the MRT ? Once someone leaves their seats, they immediately sit down, not even waiting to see if others need the seats. There was once when this middle age to old women who was carrying a lot of shopping bags, walking over to the seat, very nearly there when this Bangaladesh worker simply rushed in and slid into the seat.
