lol, she can do four; however, the Martha show is filmed really early in the morning (7 am or something). I have a cousin who worked at that show. This was taped on a day where Kristin had to perform The Apple Tree twice in one day (afternoon "matinee" and in the evening). I'll bet she didn't do her entire range because it was that early in the morning and I'm sure she didn't want to strain. I've heard in interviews she doesn't even talk on most days to conserve her voice. Love Kristin! :)

I'm not saying that she doesn't have an amazing voice. A 3 octave range is still an amazing range. But hitting the same not in 4 octave is a 3 octave range. Low C to middle C is 1 octave, middle C to high C is 2 octaves and high C to double high C is 3 octaves. Thats a 3 octave range(which is still amazing)

I'm not bashing Kristin, I swear, I love her voice, but she made a musical mistake.

I talked with someone recently who has worked on the Martha show. He said that Martha is every bit as abusive and demeaning to her employees as her reputation says she is.  So once in a while, her abusive tendencies break through her facade even with her guests.
