I would have taken the McDonald - Regulate :) - , the Grandfunk's Survival, The Doors Soft Parade, The Stones' It's only rock'n'roll, the shawn Phillips, for curiosity's sake (I don't know much about him, Blood Sweat and Tears always have good stuff, the Jeff Beck Live is quite good, Wind and Huthering is maybe the last really good Genesis album so it's worth a try for newcomers. I like those Yes LPs too. I already have the Hubert Laws one but I think I would have taken it for the second time!
Cool vid. I live about 15 minutes from Vintage Vinyl. I normally don't do all that well there, because the few hundred 45s they do have are mostly crap and I'm not much of an album collector. It does seem that their album selection is far superior to 45s, and they have a pretty good selection of oldies cds.
I'm sure we all have a few promos in our collections. I could be wrong but I thought that promos were usually good quality because a PR person wouldn't want to be sending out lousy pressings to people who would potentially give the record exposure.
Wow what an awesome store. I think my goal for 2011 is going to try and find a good store like that in Tampa Orlando or Jacksonville that I can visit a few times a year. Would love to find a place that has a good selection of new vinyl also.
All great albums! I love that Joe Jackson record.. classic.. One of my faves growing up. I have both the 12" & 10" version.. And yes I have the pin.. which unfortunately will stay intact :) But I'll keep my eye out for you. "Freedom Of Choice" best Devo record ever..! And... GCS..!! YES...! Now that's what I'm talking about. I actually have a friend who's currently one of the back up singers for GCS. Larry's still got it after all these years..

Really great video !!
Just ask myself one question. Why are the 45's in the store not in their original sleeve ? For the rest very good stuff. G.

Vintage Vinyl never cared for 45s. Most of them are late issue punk records and common 45s issued from the last 20 or 30 years.
