  • great video thanks

  • Well, that theory is now no longer valid. There is something faster than light! As for a big rocket ship. that's no good. Alien ships can be gigantic or small but they don't use fuel, but natural energies from the electro magnetic universe.

  • If we were to actually travel through time actually we could not. Due to the alternate universe theory. It is impossible to go at the speed of light, but if we did we would be affecting an alternate universe also supported by the grandfather paradox. So these kids are just smhh

  • Woah this theory makes sense

  • sick

  • I guess everyone's hear the latest breakthrough as of a few days ago saying time travel may be possible at least at a subatomic level.

I wonder if something I've stumbled across could open new doors in scientific research. If you follow my link to see my first upload "Witness a Miracle" you'll see what I'm talking about. The first few moments after it comes into focus are key to watch, and it easier to see full screen. I swear this footage is genuine. p.s I'm not selling anything.

  • Aw I wanted to go back in the 1950's so I could invent stuff that is already invented

  • bull crap super man went back in time

  • @demmerfreak i mean can't

  • @demmerfreak if there was no past, there would be nothing be cause you have to create (human/person to get born) but u can change the past unless if we figure out how ( which is 10% chance of a machine that goes into the past)

  • Time travel to the past IS possible.

  • @ClassicHorrorDB Well, it isn't because every moment that happens in the univers is sort of "deleted" afterwards, fx, if you go for a walk in a park for 5 minutes, those 5 minutes wouldn't exist anylonger, they would be remember by you and those who saw you, but the moment it self wouldn't exist afterwards, thats why time travel back in time isn't impossible, becaase there is no past, only the future.

  • @demmerfreak The universe is not "deleting" the past. If you could look at an object traveling in the 4th dimension, you would see the object and multiple copies of it behind it. The one infront resembles the object in the present and the ones behind the object resemble the "frames" of it from the past. So if the entire universe is like this, than it is possible to travel back in time to one of those "frames", and the past DOES exist.

  • @ClassicHorrorDB Im sorry but you are wrong, you cannot time travel to the past since, these frames you speak of only exist in few nano seconds each, every matter in a second is created and destroyed afterwards- The univers is a place where there is no past, "past" is a term to describe something that once happend- A worm hole for example, can and will always take you to the future, since the spacetime in worm wholes, and generally the spacetime in space, is moving slower than on Earth.

  • The Vulcan Science Directorate has determined that time travel is impossible.

  • About the your future-self killing your former-self: What if there is such a thing as reincarnation? Would that remove the paradox?

  • DUN DUH DUH DAH YOU GOT THE POWER TO RUN AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!

  • Shut yoa

    Lol

  • Too bad it's impossible to see what what happen if you tried to alter history. Like if the thing you fixed already happened then there wouldn't be a reason to go back in time in the first place.

  • I've made a comedy video aimed for people that understand particle physics. Please check out my channel for the video - Subatomic Particle Party. I'd like to do more like this if it is popular. I'm going around to a lot of quantum/time travel videos to find a crowd that will understand the jokes and hopefully enjoy the video.

  • @icebreakersix1nine we're not a story to rewrite, man. everyone makes mistakes. don't dwell on them though. learn from them, and move on.

  • I wonder - have any of these students ever been introduced the fact that are VALID alternative Universal theories?

Or are the opinions they express here formed solely from a restricted mental diet?

For a balanced education, students should also be shown the works of Nikola Tesla, John Keely, Dr. T. Henry Moray, Walter Russell & Viktor Schauberger.

When those in position of authority decide to withhold critical data, they trade facts for faith & science is no different from religion.

  • That's actually well explained

  • its true what davidvlogs says. there are other theorys which say that u can travel back in time. and if u "shoot yourself" in the past, time will fork and create another timeline.. (a parallel universe, where u dont exist).. but you would still exist in your universe.. i know confusing.. and very abstract..

  • that was gay

  • if we go to the future. then how sould we go back?

  • @trackmaster1999 With a Flux Capacitor with 1.21 Gigawatts going at 88 mph. LOL.

  • @trackmaster1999 You woudln't be able to. You're also not exactly traveling 'through' time. It's more like changing your own time so that the time elsewhere will pass more quickly.

  • what if you went a year and came back to earth; do you think that in the future they would find a way to travel in the past?

Then you could bring some cures back to the past... mmmmm

  • @philx100 eh wtf...

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • In this universe, your mother is your mother, but in another universe, she is not. Despite the fact that she may look like your mother, act like your mother, and is genetically the same as your mother, she is another person in another universe who resembles your mother. So killing her will not mean you won't be born. Rather, the you in that universe which would have been, will not be born.

  • @DavidVlogs so still, one of you in one universe would not exist.

  • This is a great video! But it speaks in facts (not all of which are true). It doesn't consider the theory of parallel universes. If parallele universes do exist (which is a very accepted theory), than time travel paradoxes do not.

  • your way of time travel requires a space ship while all mine requires is some tin foil or a bong

  • Funny but wrong when they say E=mc^2 they mean energy equals matter so if you want to go through time you would have to get enough light till it gets dense enought to almost "rip" through our time to any other time that's called a worm hole. Now they say you can't travel back in time you can but if you were to "shoot your self" it wouldent effect you at all you just creating a new demention.

  • The point of time travel is going back in time to change things, who gives a fuck about going into the future.

  • @MaicoMoon the point of time travel is whatever the timetraveler wants it to be

  • 9 people hate kids.

I'm one of them. I think they're incredibly stupid.

But, not much more so than most adults. I do feel sorry for most kids

for the world that conservatives, religionists, Demopubs & Republicrats are leaving them.

Only people who support outlawing breeding should be allowed to breed. (yeah, I recognize the irony)

  • @deskset24

Uhh, speak for yourself, weren't you a kid? And di you help film a video about time travel while you were one?

  • @deskset24 If we outlaw breeding, then imagine the paperwork you would have to go through to have sex, fuck that (pun intended), Ill have sex anytime I damn well please thank you very much.

  • @RainbowManification Fuck all you want. Doesn't bother me. Just get a vasectomy first. What paperwork? Just mandate all males get vasectomies.

Since you obviously don't care about consequences of your actions, then don't you dare hypocritically tell NAMBLA to worry about the consequences of THEIR sexual actions.

  • Comment removed

  • @RainbowManification .. if you can't give them a job, then give them everything they need to live: clean water, clean food, freedom, clean air, sewage systems, and housing - and don't fucking dare complain if they don't have the money to pay you back.

  • @RainbowManification Obviously you don't give a shit about starvation and homelessness, because I am sure YOU enjoy those things. Instead, you raise bullshit about "natural order". Well, I can assure you you wouldn't give a FUCK about that if you lived, as you proposed, shoulder to shoulder, with a trillion other humans, unable to sit down, on Australia or whereever.

Since overpopulation is NOT a problem for you, then either give everyone on earth now a decent job, or...

  • well its not really a time travel, is more like a trick.

  • LOL Nice reference to Who Shot ya?

  • Stephen hawking is retarded, and he has been proven wrong many times by average scientists.

  • @iRwaaar Calling Stephen Hawking retarded is like calling Chuck Norris weak.

  • @iRwaaar No he hasn't. Learn the definition of theory. You're probably a chav who lives in some council estate in Leeds. Please, study harder.

  • @PWNtheHILL Stfu youre just replying back because some other bitch ass bitched at me, all you want is drama because you saw a hate comment to me, peace. I gotta deal with 100 of you haters more.

  • @iRwaaar Please don't talk shit about Stephen Hawking. Stephen Hawking is cleverer than you, He's been laid more than you, Yes he's got 3 kids and two wives. I'm not just saying this because I feel sorry for him with his condition, I know that all scientists are cleverer than you and have been laid more. Michio Kuku, Richard Dawkins, deGrasse Tyson, all of them are better than you. Stop being jealous of the people who have more money than you, and are more loved than you.

  • @iRwaaar I bet your own mother doesn't even love you. You're good for nothing aren't you? You havn't had a proper education and you don't care about science, you don't care about anything do you? If the world was in danger and Stephen Hawking and the other scientists knew how to save you. You would go running to them for your dear life. Then you'd care but unfortunately, you're not worth saving. You deserve to die. GO AND KILL YOURSELF NOW MOTHERFUCKER!

  • @PWNtheHILL Hahaha, I like how youre getting so mad and making theorys that will never happen, and if you were so smart. What are the charges on online death threats "You deserve to die, go and kill yourself now motherfucker"

  • No!

On a space ship time would not ACTUALLY slow down! Just because on Earth the clock appears to move slower doesn't mean it actually does! It's just using the speed of light to create an illusion of time slowing down.

  • @IceCreeaamV3 No. It actually does slow down relative to the observer on Earth. To the people on the spaceship, it would seem to be moving normally, though. Gravity also affects time. Think of something moving at almost the speed of light. To it, then, light should seem to be moving twice as fast, yet the speed of light is constant.

  • @BlackMonk66

Dude, it's only an illusion. Light and time are two very different things.

Example: Image if you were standing on Earth and travelled through a wormhole landing on Pluto. Then on Pluto you look at the Earth through a powerful telescope. You would see the Earth, and yourself, in the past.

Have you travelled through time? Are you in two places at once? No.

It's an illusion created by light not travelling instantaneously. Time itself is an illusion, time travel is impossible.

  • @IceCreeaamV3 Time dilation is not an illusion. It has been demonstrated experimentally. You're correct about your example, but it's not what we're talking about here.

  • *rolls eyes* Oh, a paradox is what's keeping traveling to the past from being possible? HA! That's like saying philosophy is keeping things from being scientifically possible. Well, guess what Magic School Bus kids? There are a number of philosophies that deal with paradoxes. Alternate universe solution, while pretty damn Sci-Fi, makes the most sense.

  • HOW THE PAST CAN BE CHANGED

  • The real key is to obviously follow Starcraft and build a functional Battlecruiser with a built-in Yamato Cannon using Vespene Gas, Minerals, a bunch of metal, a Starport, a Physics lab attachment in a Science Facility with Hawking in it, a Control Tower, and a Factory. But hey, Sci-Fi makes you think of more possibilities. /randompostonutube

  • it wouldn't even be that hard to propel a rocket to the speed of light it just need to be pushed by light particles ( lot of them !!!!! )

  • is that a mac? *facepalm*

  • there is no time noobs..

  • those kids suck in physics

  • This will be the last post I make on this issue, you can reply if you want, but do not expect me to do the same. All replies to comments from this video will be deleted without being read. I hope you have a long and happy life, Goodbye.

  • @jiberish001 you can't measure time by measuring changes in matter since it's all relative to an observer ARE YOU SO SO SO STUPID? you don't understand anything of relativity yet here you still trying to prove that what you say is true, show me your phd mister retard i would like to see... you're nothing but a retard and a homo for thinking that i have something in my ass. i'm sure you will reply even if you say you won't, anyways, your nickname says enough about your shit here. go fuck yourself

  • @itsalie22 But physically, yes, something can still travel slower than speed of light. But traveling to the past is never really dangerous, u can never accidently change the future or never even kill urself. Now if God can intervene with our past, He would be more than able to intervene with our present and future. You can change what's already happened! FRIG IT! I’M CALLING THEM UP!

  • @jiberish001 :"We humans measure Time by observing the changes in matter."

If my car stands still for a whole day, does the time stood still that day too? you are so stupid it's unbelievable

  • @itsalie22 - If you were to be born in a room without light and sound. You would no observe anything except darkness. Introduce light, and you will see a blue ball in front of you. You now have a concept of excistance and matter. Watch the ball turn red, and you gain a concept of time. Watch the ball roll away, and you gain a concept of dimension. Oke like this? Just trying to follow his logic.

  • @Chiszle However, we are still able to make one yet and they still only figured out the way to send people to both past and future but still yes the way to get that person back. In order to travel to the past, u have to travel faster than speed of light. In mathematically, yes we can do that.

  • @Chiszle Using Plato's allegory of the cave does not satisfy the conjunction to state if time dilation can occur or not; only that we perceive objects from what we value them. Please use your philosophy correctly. However in 1971, the Hafele-Keating cesium atomic clock experiment proved without a doubt space/time bending occurs and time travel is possible.

  • @jiberish001 If you dont reply to this then the statement you made is rendered false. Check and Mate. :D

  • imagine you're moving 2miles/h forward on a london bus that moves 10 miles/h forward... to an observer standing still, he will see you moving 12 miles/h forward.

Now imagine a bus that goes 99.99% of lightspeed. And imagine you running forward on that bus with 2 miles/h

you would think that an observer will see you moving faster than lightspeed (99.99% + 2miles/h)... which is impossible... therefor you would appear standing still through the observers eyes

  • @itsalie22 even though the observer sees that you stand almost still, for you who is on the bus will still experience everything at the same speed (cosmic speed) and you wouldn't slow down in time or move faster in time. still the same motion for you.

but when you look outside, you will see that everything speeds up in time, just like a still standing observer who sees you slowing down in time on the bus... you see how this compensate? time is all relative to an observer

  • @itsalie22 when a positive mass reaches the lightspeed it would need an infinite amount of energy to accelerate to that speed. to go beyond that speed is impossible because it would need more energy than infinite and nothing is bigger than infinite and therefor going faster than lightspeed is not possible.

  • pedophilia collective?

  • no kid is that dumb?

  • Stephen Hawking is better then you and did he sie space shit?

  • this is really cool

  • Oh man, I just have to go 50000000000000000000000000000000 miles per hour and I can time travel!!!!! SWEEEEEET.

  • KARL PILKINGTON HAS A HEAD LIKE A FUCKING ORANGE

    CHIMPANCY THAT...

  • why just turn back the calendar back to the 80's and think and act like we came from the future

  • lolz @ the Zelda sound effects

    especially Hawking.

  • lol pause at 39 second and read the youtube title lol bot beats gat and sets new records

  • There is a time travel machine being build right now which uses lazers for the its power. It has been talked about for years all over the media. The other less known way of time travel is through our mind's "Pineal Gland."

We live in "Space Time" which is 3D but the Pineal Gland allows us to access 4D which is the dimension of time by inverting our perception of reality so that we then experience "Time Space." This happens when we dream. It's a fact that humans can hit fast balls without this.

  • Take the red pill

  • @TheSafecracker777 We don't have to waste time in recriminations but we could still go back in time to change what happened. We only need to find a way to turn that hurt or regret into a catalyst for growth still by moving backward from yesterday. If you can truly find a way to think about the past like that, take a good look back at your own.

  • so im selling my time travel kit i bought online i wanted to go back to the 1800's but the one i bought turns out only goes to the 90's and i already through away all my tie die and flannel so i dont want it. 190 dollars obo msg me for details thanks

  • Now don't make fun of me for what im about to say, but I was thinking, and i came up with a weird idea, that maybe when you dream is a sort of time travel? Think about it, when you fall asleep and start dreaming, the next time you wake up will be when you have to. Even though your dream only lasted about 4 minutes to you, it really lasted 8 hours in real time. Since time slowed down in your dream, isn't that time travel? correct me if im wrong.

  • @doyou133 ive always had that idea too, so if you go to sleep and your friend stays awake, when you wake up, your friend is still going to be awake while your sleeping. get me?

  • @doyou133 you would still be 8 hours older....if you're on a ship going near the speed of light you age "slower" hence 100 earth years later you would only be a few days older. your dreams don't effect how you age and they don't bend space and time lol

  • I don't care if I would be lost at that time. I just want to make sure that there will be life forms there. Other than that, I would love to see the world in 5298 with my 18-year-old body and mind.

PS: I would probably commit suicide there. #LOL

Good purpose on time travelling #FAIL !

  • the sky is blue

  • So, if you time travel to the future you'll be lost in that time, you can't go back to the present time. Who wants to do that? #LOL

  • Don't most people know this already? Why did Stephan Hawking just write an article on it? If this is for kids I can understand, but I thought it was only spoken by kids.

  • thanks, i actually learned something C:

  • Hello

    I made a new video

    Watch

    Help me get 20 views

    Thanks so much

  • from what i heard, an alternative to time travel and a solution to time paradoxes would be by utilizing parallel universes. it could be possible that there is a universe exactly like yours but at a different moment in the timeline. so if you kill the "past" version of yourself, you wouldn't be effected because there is no paradox in your universe. of course, no one has a clue how to cross universes like Sliders yet, so we'll have to do with hawking's ideas.

  • youtube is not really the place to discuss physics, but whatever. String theory fixes all paradoxes etc, etc. Not getting into a physics debate on youtube.

  • i learned so much than i ever did in a classroom

  • Yeah I could write all this crap stephen hawking puts out, don't get me wrong, I'm totally smart, but why bother cause like we could never time travel.

  • @FrumpyShakes >>totally smart >>totally

Are you a stoner or just stuck in the 70's?

  • @FrumpyShakes no you're not as smart as you think you are if you don't understand relativity + calling this a crap is just a prove how ignorant or stupid you are. perhaps physics is not for you then but don't keep others away from their intrest in time travel

  • he is right!

  • PROOOOOOOOOOO

  • if you wanna know the future you gotta know the past! trust me

  • @pixelr0 If you wanna start a philosophical debate in a physics debate you have to know how to do it! Trust me.

  • wanna time travel? easy! go to a bank make a credit. done!

  • @trekkian88 Yes because you have the credibility to call someone a retard.

  • In my opinion; Time Dilation is misunderstood.

It is not time that slows down when moving at high speeds, it is matter that slows down.

  • @jiberish001

ya..... because I'm sure you are more brilliant that Stephen Hawking, Einstein, etc.....

  • @Monkeysniffer08

For all you know; I could BE Stephen Hawking. I'm not, but my point is you don't even know me so why are you questioning my brilliants when all I did was give my opinion on the subject?

If you would have just stopped to think about what I said and how we measure time, then maybe you wouldn't have been so quick to judge.

Don't agree with Hawking just because he is smart, think for yourself and maybe you'll come to the same conclusions, then you can agree.

  • @jiberish001

haha... this isn't something simple like a social issue or something where you can "think for yourself and maybe come to the same conclusions"

    this is SCIENCE!

that means that one must do extensive research and research to be able to even hypothesize about it.

you can "think" about it all you want but unless you have scientific evidence to back yourself up..... I'll just listen to Stephen Hawking.

  • @Monkeysniffer08

Time Dilation has not been fully proven, there is only partial evidence.

Why can't I "think" they are wrong? You're acting like a lemming.

  • @jiberish001 what do you mean by matter slowing down? if you travel at high speeds, the resistance from matter becomes stronger?

  • @SamUKest89

We humans measure Time by observing the changes in matter.

They say time slows down, I say matter slows down.

  • you can't 'measure' time... time is only relative to an observer

how can matter slow down when it reaches speed limit? are you stupid? think how unlogical you are. time also doesn't slow down, it's only slows down to an observer watching the object moving at almost lightspeed

  • @jiberish001 Yes, i agree with you in your opinion. Even though two observers with a clock each in their hand will see the other's clock is wrong because it has changed rate, it is actually all matter around them that changed relative to each observer.

Also, no one would want to do this time travel to the future unless they want to live the rest of their lives 1000 years in the future (because they can never return to the present time).

  • @jiberish001 you're too stupid to even come anywhere near stephen hawking. calling yourself the new stephen hawking while you try to teach kids on youttube wrong things is just making me pissed. you're too stupid to understand relativity and that's why you make your own theory on how einstein is wrong and how you know it better... please stay away from physics and do something like literature where you need less braincells. thank you

  • @jiberish001 look into how GPS works. The concept of time slowing down at higher speeds is well understood.

  • @jiberish001 it's funny how you think einstein is wrong and how you know it better. why don't you first look up at e=mc2 explanation before making silly comments about matter and time because you're talking as if you know how to play chess while you don't know it's rules... plz see how retarded the chessguy in your eyes is as how retarded you are in my eyes

  • @itsalie22 I would like to point out a few things you may have over looked while you were too busy trolling my month old comment.

#1. I never called myself "the new Stephen Hawking"; your words, not mine. What I said was; "for all you know I COULD be Stephen Hawking", meaning that Monkeysniffer should not jump to conclusions about my "brilliants" from just one comment.

#2. What's this about teaching kids on Youtube wrong things? Everything I said is true, plus one OPINION.

  • @itsalie22

#3. The opinion I gave is a hypothesis, not a theory, there is a huge difference. And although I do think that Einstein could be somewhat wrong; I never said I know it better.

#4. You should pull that stick out of your ass and stop hating on someone for having an opinion.

  • @jiberish001 #1 saying you could be hawking is saying you are as smart as him which means you have no respect for hawking or you got a head that could fit your ass... #2 nothing you said is true... did you even go to school?

#3 thinking that einstein is wrong is saying that gps measurements are wrong or how experiments that were proven true were wrong... retard.

#4 what's a stick up my ass got to do with hating a retard like you?

  • @itsalie22 Learn to see your mistakes for what they are so as not to repeat them. A little humility wouldn't hurt either. Saying that I could be Hawking is not the same as saying I'm as smart as him, you must not have read the last part of #1. My original comments only contained 2 things that could be considered true or false (which they were true), the rest was my opinions. I never said Einstein was wrong; I said he could have been somewhat wrong, and I never said about what...................

  • @itsalie22 Now let's take a look at my original comments...

#1. "Time Dilation has not been fully proven, there is only partial evidence."

It can not be proven because you would need to demonstrate that it works in every possible experiment, and there are an infinite number of possible experiments. You can only prove theories wrong, not right.

#2. "We humans measure Time by observing the changes in matter."

    No further explanation needed.

    Everything else was my opinion/hypothesis.

  • @itsalie22 The reason I assumed you have a stick up your ass is because I'm not the only person you targeted on this issue and you came at us with nothing but hate. And sense you did not deny this; does that mean I was right? You really should see a doctor about that.

  • #EPIC

  • LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The girl with red hair looks cute :)

  • @my8villains pedo!!! alert!!!

  • @ 1:05 = ZELDA (ftw)

  • great video t-Up

  • great

  • Take the red pill

  • @TheSafecracker777 Because time is never a constant (rofl getting nerdy), you can change it....and if you wanna fly BACK in time, lmao you'd literally have to play around with dimensions and I think we'd get there anytime soon. Well it’s true! But the dots are where I say they are!

  • And if you traveled to the past to stop something from happening, you wouldn't need to travel in the future, so you wouldn't.

  • so epic.

  • this type of videos i fucking like, adore whatsoever.. great job keep it up..

  • Was that a legend of Zelda sound i heard there?

  • @PUTSAS yeah...

  • great video.

  • that was awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • I favor the infinite universe theory, which says that you CAN travel back in time, and you CAN shoot yourself, it would just be a different universe technically. You still can't travel back in your own universe

  • @supermatthew222

    The universe of dreams... :P

  • They did this time travel theory on the show Wierd or What yesterday, Seems pretty interesting

  • What a limitation can create !!! Limitation of what or who me??? You??? Who knows what a limitation is!

Amazing how helpful these computer's programs could be!

  • A year would still be a year on the ship, but if you looked back at Earth, then you would see it in the past, as we see far-away stars in the past. Like when you see lightning, that flash of light takes a minute fraction of time to reach you relative to it's distance and the speed light travels... and you will hear the crash relative to that same distance and the speed sound travels.

  • Why travel in time? There is a magical life to live here and now, on Earth, people to love and care for.

It is NOT possible to travel in time as such, why should it be? Physically that is. We can travel in time here and now with our imagination... I mean, do we need to time travel?

Let's say you are viewing earth through a telescope, or listening to a radio emission from earth, the faster you went, the slower you would percieve these waves... as you move away.

  • @divinacomedias

If you moved towards an object 1 light-year away, as you moved faster towards it, the faster you would receive the flow of images... so, you would perceive that object's changes faster and faster. Until you reached it. But the object itself is not travelling in time, neither are you, just the perception of it, or whatever is emitted... light reflections (images), radio waves... Never would you actually travel into the future, or see or hear what has not yet been emitted.

  • I'm totally doing this and getting an A on science project LOL

  • lol great video, this was nice

  • I don't understand the connection between light and time D:

  • Light travels a certain distance in a unit of time.

In one hour, it would travel a certain distance, under the conditions we have on earth. For it is also possible, for example with black holes, that light could change speed by a massive gravitational pull like that which a black hole theoretically exerts. So the speed of light could be calculated by the time it takes it to travel from point A to B. Time can also be defined by how long it takes for light to go from A to B.

  • However, light might travel at different speeds in unusual conditions for us on Earth, which does not imply that time would be moving faster or slower under those conditions. Rather, unusual conditions which might affect light speed would result in an unusual or inaccurate calculation of time, unless these unusual conditions were accounted for in the calculation.

  • @divinacomedias lol thanks, but isn't it just a "coincidence" that light travels as such a speed. Doesn't EVERYTHING travel a "certain distance in a unit of time". But I kinda get it.

I still don't get why going fast as light will slow down time. It just sounds like they confused light not being as fast as time or something (with them seeing 'dead' stars). I feel so stupid :c

  • @TinnedWaffles

Hey, I am just interpreting things as they seem logical to an ignorant person like myself. Exactly, why would light slow down time, surely there is indeed confusion. What you move away from, seems to move slower, and what you move towards seems faster. But the time continum itself, is not affected nor travelled through. So theories that say that time travel itself is possible are not accurate, and confuse locally observed transmissions, with actual occurences. Surely.

  • @TinnedWaffles

And if such is time travel, then you can travel through time yourself, it is simple. Stand by a railway track, or a road, and listen as a vehicule moves towards you and then as it moves away from you. No, there is no time travel, it is only perceptual changes of received transmissions rates... of sound in this case.

  • Soo, me and my dog mad a fast space ship, and were planing on going to the future next week. Anyone down?

  • hahaha very well done!

  • great stuff!
