I see you've used my hand tutorial for a video, it would have been nice if you mentioned where you got it from. The link to my website can be found on my youtube channel.
ok, I'll do that. However you should be able to accept critics, and try to perfect yourselve. You should be able to make the bones more vizible, because, the hand does have bones, not only fingernails.
Dude you're off base. The bones are visible. Maybe the brightness is off on your monitor. I dunno. But you're being awfully harsh considering we haven't the foggiest what kind of creature or character this hand belongs to.
Obviously it's wrong for say a sorcerer or princess but I could see it as being fine for a stylized kid or a gnome of some sort.
It's not my sculpture I merely disagree with your assessment.
It's from an almost 6 years old hand tutorial for beginners on my website, I sculpt fantasy creatures like trolls, faeries and other stuff. For a beginners lesson this hand has a lot of detail, usually hands for small fantasy 'dolls' are less detailed.
Thank you. I could watch this over and over (and have). Excellent! What scale did you sculpt the hand? I'm work in 1:12 and my hands arn't so manageable.
The size of the hand from handpalm to fingertips is about 1.8 inch. Usually I sculpt much smaller but this hand was for a beginners lesson and a little bigger was better for making the pics, didn't have a macro lens in 2004. ;-) In this video you miss the text of the original tutorial, you can find it at my website on my You tube channel. At my website just click the Tutorials link on the left side. :)
Hi, what kind of foam do you use and where can I find the sculpting tools?

I think the hand size to finger size ratio is a little off but it's still quite an amazing hand sculpture

If your sausages have fingernails and knuckles, don't eat them. Whatever you do don't eat them!
Notify the police immediately. You may now proceed to panic!
