  • Hi I just had a tummy tuck about 4 months ago and i am unhappy with the results and Ihave the scar going downward under my belly button and i still look like my belly is a W with a lot of jiggle when i walk............. my surgen told me to lose weight but is should be flat for just being 4 months out....... was their an org. that i can call about him?

  • @Asia28282 Everything came out to $10,000 in colombia but was not worth it cause they botched me up. There were legal battles and I suffered a lot through the process but at the end and through revision surgery, I now love my results. I have that perfect dream body that I always wanted.

  • You look great & don't need tats! Don't start douting yourself... Smile ; )

  • I will keep you in my prayers. You keep your head up, God's got your back.

  • You are perfect the way you are right now! You don't need no Jlo booty at all! You have came a long way and I am very proud of you!

  • @sexyboricuadiva sorry for the late responce but im 5'6. Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I did a lot of cardio and always moved my arms back and forth on the treadmil and on the elipitcal. I think its helped me tons w/ no excess skin in my arms.

  • You're very brave Mel, you deserve to have whatever makes you feel great about yourself and you also deserve to feel safe. You will make the best decisions for yourself.

  • omg im going to get this surgery soon i just wanted to know if u think that ill have alot of excess skin being as that i havent had kids and im only 19 and omg i have that bed spread

  • Wow from start to finish is such a huge difference. Amazing transformation, you look great =)

P.s.It is kind of hard to hear you though when the musics playing.

  • I had the same problem after my tummy tuck. My doc told me it was called a "dog ear" and had it fixed 2 years later...could've gone back much sooner but my schedule didn't allow me to. Have since had my "dog ear" fixed which was a simple proceedure at the hospital with only epidural freezing.

  • I was reading about a term, "Wabi Sabi." It is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and profundity in nature, of accepting the natural cycle of growth, decay, and death. For instance in the movie "Just Wright" the girl doesnt remove the dent out of her car - she calls it a dimple because it reminds her of her grandpas dimple who had passed away. Accepting and finding beauty in something based on what its been thru and appreciating the story behind the piece of art (which is you!)

  • Thanks for posting this. It really lets people know what a realistic result may be. GB-Barbie made a comment once where she said "Plastic surgery makes normal people ultranormal (like Kim K you mentioned). It makes us (WLS people) normal." Remember where you came from - what an incredible change and difference right? Our scars remind us of the road we've traveled so we dont go back.

  • Oh my I love your videos. I just learned about the lap band. You and bandedwendy are inspirational. I go to my meeting in 3 days. I'm so excited!!!!! Your transformation is so incredible. God bless!!!

  • do you have any advice on how I could get the surgery, if my insurance wont pay (I have bad insurance) and they wont let me pay myself...I really want/need to loose weight and I dont know what to do

  • hey I have been watchin some of your video's lately...I want to get the surgery but I dont think it will happen my insurance wont pay and I asked if I could pay and they told me no because of some legal problems with the insurance company....did you have any problems like that?? do you think there is still hope for me to get the surgery?

  • Mel- You look great. No matter what you decide to do its your body. But I think you look wonderful. You've been thru a lot. YOu do whatever YOU have to do to make YOURSELF feel wonderful!

  • Haven't seen your videos in 6 months, so I decided to check and see how you were doing, and I see you got your surgeries and you do look great. Just want to say, keep up the good work. Peace. Marlon

  • U look super good(: Ur hips don't look bad at all but it's ur choice(: Ur girls are nice lol I will be getting them done as well. Thank you for showing everyone ur body and ur such a INSPIRATION to me(: Take Care! *Angela*

  • The Choice is yours I wish you the best and Much Continued Success! Take Care

  • MEL I FEEL YOU I NEVER HAD A BOOTY EVEN WORST NOW

  • You look great -- amazing considering what happened to you the first time around! I'm happy with my tummy tuck, but I can't wait to go back to have the breasts done. It'll be a 2-step procedure for me -- first, a lift and later, implants. ONE day...but definitely here in the US. Too much happening with the medical tourism.

    Dena

  • You look amazing but like everyone has said going back is whatever you decide to do but you look beautiful just the way you are :)

  • Hey Melanie, Good to see you again. You are looking very good. Don't stress over going back for more surgery. You have come so far from where you started and have maintained a wonderful look and always a wonderful personality and inspiration to us all. You know we are behind any decision you make going forward. I wish you continued success. Keep up the great work....Jeff

  • Your dog in the background is killing me with its cuteness.

  • PLEASE HELP I had my surgery 04/14 and only lost 50lbs can you tell me what you did to loose so fast?

  • Mel, you were gorgeous before surgery & are now after surgery... The person who has to live with your body is you... you'll already know if you can undergo more surgery! Whatever happens, stay safe ok ?! xxxRach.

  • awww, Melanie, you've been through so much already, but you know what you want. Maybe just a little bit more time is what you need in order to make a decision. The doctor sounds like he's pressuring you a little bit, in my opinion, b/c he wasn't the one going through it all. Making decisions like these need your time...after all, you're going to be paying him, not the other way around. I wish you the best, girlie!! Your YT family luvs ya lots!!

  • Excellent video!! You are an inspiration to us all! Cute dog by the way! :-)

  • Thank you Mel for sharing you are a wonderful person.

  • I think you should do whatever makes you happy since you've sacrificed so much for your lifestyle change! Love your videos!

  • Mel You look out of this world!! Be proud of all ur accomplishments to bettering your health with ur tool, hard work & determination!! ..U've kept it real & honest the whole time..So u know what's best for urself mind, body & soul, don't worry about what others think/say..U're the only 1 whom can make that final decision on whatever u do.. I know it was each video is serious, but it was cute when u said about ur butt "uh where'd it go" lol Take care of you & yours, stay safe always.. hugs

  • I'm kinda new to watching ur videos ... Did ur insurance pay for plastic surgery ?

  • you look amazing mel!! but in the end its all up to you!! your a fighter girl so whatever you chose you'll do great & succeed !! good luck!

    ::vivi::

  • you have been through a lot-- you have worked so hard for your victory-- and I know some days just facing more can seem overwhelming-- so take your time dear heart-- there is no rush-- enjoy the now-- the "then " will come in it's own time. As regards anything else-- you are in my thoughts everyday- you can overcome it all- YOU have GRIT my dear-- and that is a great character trait! big hugs-- and take your iron! mine is arriving to day-- you inspired me!

  • It's hard to put a comment on this video, to be honest. Your journy, it scares the shit outta me! i am currently awaiting word back for approval for this surgary and am Much Bigger then you- so the skin on me may infact look rediculous!

So all i can really do is say Thank you. TY for really filling me in on exactly what might be my reality in a year or so. That said- I want to live and be healthy- so I still want this. Ty mel

  • Thank you Melanie,

When I see you have a vid posted I get excited. I think you look great but I know that you have to feel good in yourself. You have accomplished so much . I've been banded a little less than 2 months and I'm struggling to succeed. Your vids are so encouraging to me. I came in to look back at yours to see what you ate and what you did. The best to you always. Dee

  • Girl I think that you look great!!!! I cannot wait to get to goal so that I can have surgery. Thanks for the video I always love it that you keep it so real.

  • I know when you had your breast augmentation they did what you called "anchor suturing" . Do you still have the scars from that or have they faded?

  • Hi Skymoon! You are truely courageous. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with the youtube world. I admire you for being so opened about your personal experince with the lapband and your transformation. Que Dios te bendiga.

  • Does it hurt all the time? I can't imagine being in pain all the time. uggh

  • your amazing believe that and start telling yourself that A little self love goes a long way..its hard to admire who we are when were not were we want to be ideally in our minds you are truly an inspiration to me and im very thankful that I came accross your videos Always God Bless you n your fam..xoxox

  • Whatever you decide to do or not do - the decision is yours and you have to be the one to go through it or not. You look great the way you are - but then again, it's your body so do what you feel is best for you.

  • @MyBandedLife Thanx, I will what I will do.. I have a follow-op appt with my surgeon next week and I will let you guyz know what he recommends to do next.

  • Mel, u look fine just the way u r. I don't want u to be traumatized anymore so don't go under the knife. I think in time your scars will lighten up. U look fabulous in ur clothes and no one can see the scars but ur husband and you. Is ur husband complaining? Its all about your happiness,in the end. I think going for the tattoo to cover up the scars just to satisfy your mental imagine is a better choice. U have been thru enough trauma/drama so I support u100% in your final decision. be blessed XO

  • @mshotgirl4u1 Yeah I know a lot of people will have different opinions on what I choose to do which is why I pulled this video down last week and reposted it this week. I frankly put myself out there and if people talk, then so be it. The video had bad lighting so it probably seems like im krazy and dont need to do any more work but I actually do. A tattoo has been on my mind for a while. We will see what my final decision will be. btw, no my husband never complains. LOL

  • Thank you for sharing this with us. You have been through so much, I'm glad you are doing much better. You look fabulous! I use to have a great butt and now it is very flat. I'm wondering if someone could ever exercise to recover those muscles? I want to start dancing again someday soon and I wonder if that will help. Anyway, you look great and thank you so much for sharing this with us.

  • @virginiann1975 I think the exercising is why we lose it... hahaha thats how I lost mine. I dont know if there is any way to recover it afterwards.

  • @skymoon1982 Well I know in my dancing days I had a great butt and legs. I always look at dancers and they have the best looking tush! Anyway, that is my hope, if I ever get back to dancing (because my body has other issues) I will certainly keep you posted if it helps me. Either way it will be fun! I took a first place in a fox trot competition when I was about 32. I love ballroom dancing!

  • You look great!

  • You look great.. Good luck with all that you do. Te ves tan bella. Que hermosa eres.
