History repeats itself: sewage is flowing in the streets of Libyan towns and cities. This is what America does best: destroy peaceful countries minding their own business.
This is the effects of a socialism government over time. The people do not know how to work together to make change they depend on the government to do everything for them. The Iraqi government leaders are so corrupt they pocket the money forget about their people. I use to patrol near this neighborhood in 2007.
It is reckless policies of the current governments why don't talk about the corruption, all the wealth of Iraq is going now to this puppet regime, while you're still talking about the national previous regime who was spare no efforts to build the country
the allied forces bombed, sewage works, electricity stations, pumping stations ect early in the campaign, which is fairly standard practice- degrade the living standards of the people. thing is, no one wants to repair any of it now, cus it's to dangerous.
Hope in my lifetime we will see Iraq regain security and begin to prosper and provide her people with the standard of living they deserve. What has happend here in Iraq is a travasty that is man made. Such a country should not be reduced to rubble with sewage flooding her streets. Iraq should be a proud country. The people in Britain do not want and never did want this. Neither did the majority of the people in The USA. It makes me feel dismay that innocent people have been caught up in politics
I read somewhere the US set up dumpsters for the people to use, and goat herders overturned all these dumpsters when there was no garbage service and this clogged the sewers.
Early in the war the administration fought all effort to establish an audit trail of funds moving into Iraq. Obviously, they new that their goals were not met by such accountability.
wow...that really put things in perspective for me - i was complaining about a little mud and rain, but these people don't even have drains in the streets.

Where is the UN?
Or people from other countries?
It's not a polical thing.
It's a people helping people thing.

If this is the americans idea of liberating and rebuilding Iraq, I wonder what would the occupation and distruction of Iraq be like.

if Sadam were still in power, we would not be watching any You Tube video from Iraq.

Of course this is the U.S.'s fault, Saddam would be out there with a mop & bucket.
