@elpazoa ya.. i read a book a bit back you may have too, "On Combat" its a physiology of combat and stress situations, in one part of the book it explained a officer used to train like that giving the gun back to his training partner but when he was in a real life situation he took the gun from the guy who pointed it at him but because he trained his mind to give that gun back he did it, when the officer realized what he did he pulled his gun from holster and shot the aggressor.
