  • I'd lol if Charlie Sheen started selling these.

    Great review man!

  • made is japan quality!

  • Ive never tried some winning gloves are they better than fighting gloves ?

  • Where can i buy winning gloves at ? WEBSITE?

  • @hockeyccm10 winningusa

  • @hockeyccm10

    double u 3x winning-usa dut com

  • can anyone please asnwer this for me? why does mayweather have these but in heavy bag type glove form ive been trying to look for the excact same ones cause they look comfortable but are his custom or something cause i cant find them??

  • @mario6279 they were specially designed for him if u could find a pair they would be replicas or his gloves which would cost allot

  • good video... i was thinking about getting a pair of those...but yeah i understand how much they cost... there like 300 a pair so yeah idk but they look like pretty good gloves

  • what ounce gloves should you use for an actual fight?

  • @zmichhunts007 12 oz

  • @Godde92 that depends on what you're fighting in and what weight class you're in like i told the other guy.

  • @zmichhunts007 that depends what your're fighting in and what weight you are. are you asking for pro competition or amateur competiton. pros that are welterweight and under use 8 oz. where jr. middleweight and over generally use 10 oz. similar with amateurs except instead of 8 oz. it would be 10 oz. and instead of 10 oz. for the upper weight class boxers, it would be 12 oz. and then 14 to 16 oz. for sparring.

  • Just wondering, do winning do a Velcro glove? Does anyone know?

  • @hawkman350 Yup its on the winning website

  • @hawkman350 yes they do !

  • thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. i have 16 oz reyes gloves to spar with and experienced the same thing you did with the fit. anyway which would you say has thicker padding on the knuckles. is the one thick layer on the safetecs thicker than the two winning layers you described? they both seem like they give excellent hand protection from what you wrote so ill probably go with the gloves with less bulk over the knuckles. i should have just asked that in the 1st place heh.

  • @neoalphaone they are about the same in thickness. neither of them are really bulky. but surprisingly the 10 oz. winnings feel equal in weight to the 8 oz. safetecs even if the winnings are wider in sizes and length. maybe due to what winning padding is made of. i recommend the winnings. i wouldn't really go any lower than 10 oz. though. and 16 oz. or 14 oz. is perfect for sparring. i'm glad to be of help!

  • awesome review! i am 90% sure i am going to get these gloves but am also interested in the reyes safetec pro fight glove. any chance you plan on doing a review on the reyes "safetec" profight glove?

  • @neoalphaone i have both. i prefer the winnings. but it could be different for you. like, what do you want to know about the gloves in comparison? maybe i could help you with that choice.

  • @brandeezy108 well i am also going to use the gloves for the heavy bag and mitt work. you mentioned that the winning gloves are still in good shape after having them for a while, do you think the safetec would hold up just as well? could you also tell me how they compare size wise? im thinking the more compact glove would be better to work with for accuracy. lastly, could you compare the padding in the knuckle area of both gloves for me? thanks.

  • @neoalphaone i didn't have the winning gloves for that long. but a pro boxer that goes to my gym occasionally, has 12 oz. winning gloves and she's had them since 2002. the only problem is that the paint chips along the sides pretty fast but the padding on her gloves is still in great great shape. same on my glove. as for size, the size doesn't really make that much of a difference. i have 8oz. safetecs so i can't be for sure. 10 oz. winnings are fine. (i'll continue this comment.)

  • @neoalphaone (this is a continuation for the other comment) the safetecs were great they were soft padding. it's much like a temperpedic. what i didn't like that much was the craftsmanship and wrist support. the craftsmanship was a little off because the thumb in left hand glove was in a different position than the right hand glove. the right was more comfortable. the winning's craftsmanship was perfect along with great stitching. some chipped paint but i can look past that. (to be continued.)

  • @neoalphaone and lastly, their padding. the safetecs have softer padding. like i said, it's like a temperpedic on your hands. it's one thick layer. winnings have two layers. soft outside hard inside, but i still think the winnings have better padding protection wise. it's even more cushiony even if it's a little harder on the inner padding of the glove. the outer padding of the gloves are about equal in softness. but with winnings you need to break them in. saftecs don't need to be broken in.

  • What language is he speaking?

  • @tomwalker389 lol thats what i said

  • you ever think about doing MMA gloves and equipment videos??? i watch these all the time for good advice... i like your videos bro. AWESOME!!

  • Where Can I Buy Them?

  • Why do all the gloves look huge on your hands? Is it the camera or what

  • I want to thank you for all your videos. It helped me a lot in my decisions.

  • Hi, i m from Brazil and started boxing one year ago. I tried a lot of gloves before I decided to buy the winning gloves after this video and when I used the gloves in my train, ooh, i could feel the difference in the 10 first punchs. its increduble how can winning gloves protect my hands. I m "white belt " in boxing and for me it was perfect to protect my wrist and my hand. My gloves are 16OZ and now i want one pair for the mitts. I m thinking in the 12OZ instead 10OZ. Can you help me to choose?

  • @zenikova i recommend 10 oz. for mitts, double end bag, and heavy bag use. 16 or 14 for sparring. you can use 12 oz. if you want a little more endurance or 10 oz. if you want speed and better form. i'd go for 10 oz. especially if the padding is good.

  • how much?

  • @MrAsianinvasian123 pacquiao hit the bag with white 10 oz. but now he uses green 10 oz. on bag. he does it for near the end of his workouts. just be careful for your wrist. use 10 oz. like nearing the end of your work out. 16 oz. are still essential however. 10oz. or 8oz. are great for mitts and double end bag. 16 at the beginning for heavy bag and 10 oz. at the end for heavy bag. there are also advantages for using lighter gloves like it will help improve your form so you don't punch so wide.

  • heyy thank you for all the great reviews !! do you know what is the diference between fighting gloves and wining gloves ??( i am looking for good bag gloves)

  • @redikhriz fightings are NOTHING like winnings. just hope it helps :)

fighting if you want to save money. winning if you want the best training/bag gloves.

  • I have these gloves they are good, and they don't get dirty

  • I hear a lot about these but god damn. are they ugly. these gloves would clash terribly w/ my rash guard and shorts. they look so...hella japanese conservative retro.

  • @xchrisbobisx they look awsome imo.

  • you should do a re-review of these gloves

  • Do you buy all of this gear?

  • Winning are good gloves if your hands are brittle because of the extra padding.

  • Hey, love your reviews. I want to see if you can review the gel wraps from everlast. I'm sure you know about it but just in case, they look like mma gloves but thinner and you slip those on instead of wrapping you hands with a hand wrap.

  • Witch gloves do you recommend for small hands? I now have reyes but they are very big inside the glove.

    Hope to hear from you.

Kind regards Johnny from the netherlands

  • hey im gana get my first pair of glovs and i dont know what size to get small, medium large and so on , and from my wrist to my finger tips is about 8 inches, so if anyone can help please d haha

  • @Ave489

usually there is no small medium or large, they are all the same size. only thing that you have to look for is the weight. if you are 200+ pounds you should get 14-16 oz gloves. if you are around 150 or less you should go for 12-14 oz

and make sure you dont use bag gloves as sparring gloves or sparring gloves as bag gloves

  • i ordered the twins lace up in white last week, cant wait to get them

  • can you do a review of adx profesional gloves?

  • grt vid man thnks for doing this "rate-this"...quick questions though...y the 10oz? vs the 16oz? was price a factor? or do u like using smaller gloves? how long did it take to get ur gloves from japan? do u use wraps under these gloves? thnks again

  • @cepee183 10 oz. for heavy bag, mitts, double end bag. 16-14oz. for sparring. i'd leave it at that. also price could be a factor. i used to used 16 oz. gloves to hit bag. but using large and heavy gloves on the bag can make your form wide. i personally prefer smaller lighter gloves for speed and for making punching form nice and compact rather than wide and open. i'm sorry if your question probably got answered a long time ago. lol.

  • i see pros using winning gloves on the bag and for sparring and mitt... whys that

  • because it's the best of the best.

  • ya i figured they just buy new ones everytime it breaks down a little lol

  • @alectrifyingalex

cletos are the best sparring & fight gloves. winning are heavy bag gloves

  • cos winning gloves provides the best protection and they are very soft and has nice cushion. so when sparring they wouldnt do extra damage to their partner. ther bag gloves last long too. Thats why most boxers dont use winning gloves in a pro fight cos they are like cushions, but they more use punchers gloves like cleto reyes. manny pacquiao use to use winning then switched to Reyes

  • great revues man, thanks. Im a true cleto-reyes glove user myself- they fit really naturally around my fist better than most.

  • what better grant or cleto reyes also for head gear what the diff of grant training headgear and pro headgear? which is better, and is grant head gear better than cleto reyes

  • Thanks man. I appreciate what you do. 5 stars!

  • These Japanese Winning gloves are the most popular sparring gloves used by the elite boxers such as Pacquiao, Marquez, Mayweather and Cotto. They are $200.00 and up. It's the extra thick padding on the knuckle area that makes it such a comfortable sparringgloves.

  • nice review, thank you. I've always wondered why they were so expensive, most elite boxers seem to like those for training.

  • i have used the imitation version..the "fighting" lol..and its a lot better than ever last in my opinion. great protection in the wrist area.

  • it's ndamn true man ..r good , r soft, r comfortable,but too much expensive........

    japanese stuff!!!!!!!!!!

  • rate this gear GIVE US THE PRICE OFF EACH GEAR SPECIALLY THE GLOVES

  • does anyone know what type of boxing boots Erik Morales wears? i think they are smart and would like to get them, as i need a new pair anyway

  • asics

  • lol i left that comment as i jus watched the first few seconds, id get them in yellow or blue or red,

  • i want those !! red, blue, white, or yellow i dont care lol, and youv got a small mark on your gloves bro

  • i want those!
