Basicly, the singer of this song only needs to make the basic voice.

The singer can be as bad as he/she wants to, since those mistakes can be erased later on, meanwhile editing the voice to sound like a Vocaloid. Of course, it's better if the singer allready is able to sing it whithout any mistakes.

UTAU is a program that makes the user able to use synthesized voices, just like Vocaloid, but UTAU is different in usin and the UTAUloids sounds a bit more robotic.

Also, UTAU have some UTAUloids that are NOT made by fans, these you refere to as the official UTAUloids, but you ARE actually able to make your OWN UTAUloid. But of course they arent official. ^^

But from saying that, you might say that there really IS an infinite number. xD
