The Pitts is awesome but... are you sure this is 10 grams? i've tried using micro lightweight plantraco electronics (receiver, motor, servos and batteries) get 9 grams...even used foam lighter than depron plus 10 grams more... other parts, such as LG,wheels, & etc should add around 3... my plane is 30cm span...
What electronics and material ur friend use? don;t tell me the plane was made with tissue paper and lighter electronics then plantraco offer now...
i was like, cool airplane bro, then the enya music came on and i was like, oh no i like to touch my asshole to this music, and then i was like but i wanna watch this plane fly, so i did both
I stumbled across this at rocketg dot com forward slash micro He has all kinds of
free plans for very light carbon indoor flyers, using the radio and gear from cheap wal mart rc planes! He built the same as those 300 dollar planes for only twenty bucks! Neat!
How did you make the body? Toughest thing for me to do about going tiny - finding the correct guts and making the perfect body... How did you do yours? Do you have a build log???
I can't take any credits ... because i'm nor the owner or builder ... its property of a friend of me: Johan. But i'll pass the comments anyhow. Maybe he will read it himself.
P.S. With a slowfly prop ... the roof should come off i would think ;-)
definately is. pennys are 3.1 grams before 1980somethin after that 2.8 grams. i did science olympiad and the event coordinator had an rc plane that wieghed as much as a penny. idk which penny.
aorc24, I cant rember where they are, but I think that if you type "micro pitts model balsa" or something to that effect into google it isn't too hard to find. Hope this helps!
Might be nice to thank Chris for designing this plane and making the plans rather than claim it your own craftmanship... I too have built a number of these Pitt's and run them with the Plantraco gear - but would always Credit the designer rather than take the credit myself!
i think with electronics it comes to € 300 or more. Don't know exactly, have to ask the builder. If u're really interested --> just say so :-p But craftmanship has it's price that's something i learned in this hobby.

Never have i said that my friend/ or me designed this plane.
All i know and typed as a reaction to someone is if want to buy such a plane ready to fly, u have to pay hard cash.
Nothing more nothing less, is said. I would have credited the designer if i knew who it was back then.

I'm just the camera men, with the deepest respect for the designers, builders etc. of this little plains.
But reading is also an art of it's own. ;-)
Just my 2 cents.
P.S. Chris WHO ??? i will ad his name in the video comment.
