@domiukas1 Like I'v said before, I only use the word "VS" because it attracts more viewers and I want A LOT of them for both of these bands which I believe are very underrated in the music industry, I love Sharon and Tarja too but there are already tons of videos featuring them ( I too have made dozens of videos with them)..Amaranthe DO HAVE metal elements in their music and its a FACT!..They are more pop-commercial than Epica but who cares?..as for Amy, Elize crushes her everyday.

Why the hell would you compare these two? First: They are very good friends, they work together, and they do not compete against each other in any way at all. Second: They are both excellent singers, but in different genres. Fourth: Comparing is shit, let's enjoy them both. They're both strong, excellent women with amazing voices and good bands behind them.

@RoberrOne Let me be clear and honest here, the point of my channel and all my vides is to do promotion to bands I think do not get as much credit they deserve..by calling this a "VS" video it automatically draws more attention and more viewers..I agree with all that you say but remember my point is to promote them, not to compare them..I of anyone knows they are completely different, I have been a fellow fan of Epica since 2003 and watched Amaranthe grow in Gothenburg where I too live.

@nadman14 Amaranthe do not "suck" its just a mater of taste, Epica has been around for longer so its easier to say they are better, instrumentally I agree with you, they use lots of choirs and classic instruments..Amaranhte is more party music and a step towards commercials, but they do not suck, Elize is hot, she is more interactive with the audience and thats a fact, Simone is super hot too but gets too much attention because of her red hair (my opinion)

@Epica90 true, but i hate party/commercial music. its all about the music for me, not the image that goes with it. so for me Amaranthe are awful. i love the symphonic elements in Epica, simone's voice is very good and the growls in Epica are leagues above Amaranthe. they are true death metal growls (with a hint of black metal at times).

2 amazing singers, but I think that you can't compare them.. completely different music genres. Personally i prefer Simone Simons with her pure, innocent like voice.. You can hear her amazing hunger for success when she sings. Elize Ryd has a much more modern style of singing, and I love her skills! Amaranthe will be a big band some day ! Thumbs up for the Battlelore song in the end ! PS: this is only my opinion, please post responses if you disagree with some of my opinions!

I think it is not so good to give to this vid the name "Simone vs Elize", for it means to me, they are in a combat against each other. And I cannot compare Simone with Elize. Elize is a good singer, but her behaviour and appearance is "unnatural". Simone has more "class" and seems to me much more humble.

@TheLadyMarguerite I have met with Elize and watched Amaranthe live 5 times, she is humble and always smiles to the people and the crowd and seeking eye contact and have no problem taking pictures right after, Simone has more class in the way she is a diva, she has been along for quite som time and is a pro at what she does, her vocals and stage presence is unbelivable, but Elize as a person is true and natural, Simone has in my opinion changed "behaviour" especially after Design Your Universe.

Well, Elize is hotter by far. But I can´t stand Amaranthe. It´s just popmusic disguised with some blastbeats and growls. A product band designed to sell records with catchy soulless songs, Sonic Sydicate is another band like that... Just terrible in every single way, it´s prettymuch the metalversion of the music from the people that have won Idol.

Alizza White-gluz is hotter then both Simone and Elize tho... just to finnish abite more ontopic ^^

So THAT is who fills in for Kamelot's Background Vox live. . .fantastic, it's interesting though, Elize Ryd sort of sings like Disney singers, which is even more interesting because I do not like "Disney-Singing" but, she is awesome! I get what you mean that she has a Disney singing - style, I am normally only drawned in to more trained and schooled voices but Elize is an exception for sure ^^
