yeah, Jaspers beak was heaps black when I got him, he is 8 months now and his beak is perfectly orange.. though it seems to be getting even brighter! Some birds beaks go brighter quicker than others :p just like some humans mature quicker than others..

Jasper looks to be older judging by his beak, they dont usually go a solied colour until they are adults.
