Just goto the office right in the main area, across from the parking lot on other side of street (under the collapsed bridgeway). Just ask the guys in there for permission. they usually just have you sign a waiver to say "you die, dont blame us". then your free to explore. It's called kings mill commerce park. Alot better to just kindly ask them for permission than trespass. They dont seem to mind as long as you ask.

I've heard that someone was killed during a paintball match here, I did an investigation of the building for a school video.

I was injured falling through the 3rd floor via a nice little hole. Other than that, none of the 60+ players during the event were killed... some other minor injuries.

yes, they patrolled the area when we were playing paintball. We had permission though to be on the premise

yew wont get shot alot of my friends went in there last year and went everywhere in all of the towers like 2 in the morning and they said they didnt see shit in there but heard alot of noises coming from the elevator.

i live in kings mills, they have been talking about tearing down the powder factory and putting in an apartment complex....

You probably dont want to hear this coming from me, but they need to tear it down. It would have been one thing if it had some upkeep over the years, but though it looks cool, its severely falling apart, and is a huge danger to anyone who goes into it.

It is sad that noone kept it maintained all those years, and I'm grateful for being able to spend a weekend in there, but its a easy place to be killed or seriously injured. The towers are on the verge of collapse as well.

One time, a couple of guys I was with had a suggestion to "have some fun" with some people. The idea was to have been driving some girls around and telling them about how when "sacrifices" would be going on there-- there would be a light at the top of the tower. So, It was suggested that someone (probably me, since I was not, and am still not afraid of heights)..place a lantern in the window at the top, and then,they would drive with the girls past the place, point out the lantern and....

dude some punk'd kids are messin' with the cops by tagging some of the floors with a pentagram or something... my friend said he saw one, I won't go in there because I don't wanna get shot up by SWAT/ get fined

I have been there too. IN FACT..I have been to the TOP of that tower,(and came VERY, VERY close to falling into the "shot tube" that runs from the top of the tower to the bottom!!), and through nearly all of the buildings.

And it was NOT during any recent "paintball games", either. this was back in the late summer of 1985, when I was in HS....

I did NOT think it was scary. In fact--it was kind of fun. I did NOT see ANY evidence of "weird things" having gone on there--just an old, empty factory, with building materials, lying around, and a BUNCH of holes in a LOT of floors, just WAITING for someone to fall through!!

I, and several other people I knew at the time, all sneaked in through the "walkway" that runs over Kings mills road, and through an open window.
