I rememeber being a kid back in 05 watching this. It was the first time I really got to see the Sayian Saga since I started watching about half-way through the Freiza Saga when it was on Toonami. I dont see why parents got mad if it came on at 10. I mean hell adult swim comes on at 9 now.. I think family guy and american dad is less suitable for kids than dbz... Plus most kids go to bed by 10. When i was a kid I watched adult swim all the time I knew better to repeat what they said lmao. I mean really what are parents throwing a fit about.. Nobody wanted to buy the DVDs and chose to DVR the episodes that ran on Cartoon Network instead. Because of that, FUNimation prematurely canceled the release of the discs and screwed over many people who dedicated their time and money to collect the entire first season.

I loved watching the uncut version of dbz. It was raw and all the more entertaining when one of the characters cussed. I was pissed when the series was cancelled. Though I should have seen it coming due to the fact that one of the characters flipped another off, the episode before it was cancelled. That might have been the reason.
