@Dicilion You might want to check out my newer Fedora hat tutorial for Blender 2.5 series. Search for "Blender 2.58/2.59 Fedora Hat Modeling Tutorial"
@Dicilion Heh heh, you are most welcome my friend! Do subscribe. I'm quite busy lately, but I will try to come out with new videos during the Christmas break.
This was EXTREMELY useful compared to the other tutorials, straight to the point whilst actually making sense. I enjoy your vids, keep up the good work!
@azulafan202 Turn on Do Clipping in the Mirror Modifier, in Edit mode, select all the components, move them along the X axis, (press G followed by X) away and then back from the centre mirror line until the two halves stick together.
This is great! The first blender tutorial that I can actually follow! Thanks! Just try to speak louder alittle... But thank you so much for this tutorial. Really appreciate it!
@GeoJJx I'm pleased to hear that. Do check out my other Blender modeling tutorials. There's an updated version of this video. Keep on Blendering! Cheers!
@GeoJJx Your axis orientation could be different from mine, or your Mirror modifier axis is set wrongly. You may want to see the updated Fedora Hat modeling tutorial. Cheers!
@32shadowarts To change your view by tumbling, middle click hold and drag. To pan, press ALT and Middle Mouse Click and drag. You may want to watch my newer videos. There are short cut hints on the top right of the screen.
@dewque Check out my latest video on how to model the Fedora hat, that newer video has some better tricks to model your hat faster and nicer. Glad you enjoyed my video and thanks for watching!
hi man, i just started to use blender and i want to model thinks for gamedev use, got any good tips for tutorials ? ,i like the music !!, what music is it ? ,kindly // jimmy
Dude! Take it easy, go borrow another computer with proper volume or visit other web tutorials. You CAN learn blender, but do it one step at a time. Be patient and keep at it, you'll be a pro in no time.
Wow, very helpful indeed. Can skills from one package be universally transferable, because I can't make my mind up on software. Is it alright to use more than one package?
Think of it this way, the 3D package you are learning are just tools, it's just like using a pen, pencil or graphic marker. It's the person who wields the tools who creates. All 3D packages do the same thing, but Blender is available for free. Knowing more than one package will make you more marketable, learning the first 3D package is hard, but the 2nd or 3rd will be easier because the concepts are the same. It does take some time and lots of practice to acquire proficiency.
Close Enough!

Awesome tutorial. Tutorials on making specific things are the best because they show real examples of how to use things.

It can be for any 3D application you want :). I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with roblox, but I guess you can create simple models for it.
