  • is some one talking in the background? 1:20

  • This is very helpful for learning the timing of the bassline, ta.

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 Good ear & agree your comment♪!...Please, feel free to check out my bassline cover ... This song was 30 years ahead of it's time!... Thanks for sharing Fab Four Archivist :) !

    Peace

  • I've never heard this isolated track before. Very very cool. Thanks so much for posting it. You can hear so many things so much better.

  • brown

  • This comes from the 5.1 surround sound mix available on the DVD.

  • At 1:20 he says, "that's alot, that's a lot" - not f* off

  • Where do you get this????

  • How The Heck Did You Do That? No Stereo Version Of This Song Exists,Even The New Remasters!

  • There's a stereo mix on ''Yellow Submarine Songbook'' isn't there?

Anyway this is from the 5.1 channel mixes done for the Yellow Sub DVD (you can tell by the way the track abruptly just before the spot where Jeremy or whoever talks).

It's great to hear Paul's trumpet so clearly on this mix.

  • @RodCow Then Why Didn't They Use The Stereo Mix On The Remastered Version Of The Yellow Submarine Album? Wasn't Only A Nothern Song Done On Two Tracks That Had To Be Played At The Same Time To Be In Synch So They Only Made A Mono Version And The Original Multitracks No Longer Exists?

  • I would imagine that they didn't use the 1998 stereo mix of OANS on the remaster because it's not the original vintage mix and that was what they used for all of the remasters.

You are correct that the original mix was made by synching two different mixes with different elements together. The multitracks do still exist however and those new mixes were made by digitally synching all of the tracks of the various pre 'reduction mix' tapes together to make a new multitrack tape.

  • Liverpudlian accent at its maximum ! Just love it !

  • Fab stuff!

  • awesome! so,they just sped up the trumpet and placed it here and there...

    interesting,Ive never heard this before

  • i just play it myself

  • It's quite slowly!

  • ...b r o w n!

  • Paul McCartney played the trumpet in this song.

  • Interesting. This sounds a bit like the version that is played in the Yellow Submarine film.

  • It is, for the surround sound mix

  • i like the jamming style... they didn't put much energy on this one. interesting, though

  • NICE!

  • At 1:20 it sounds like someone says "f" off

  • it does wtf

  • i think there talking about whoever is on the trumpet or the trumpeter telling people to stop because he sounds so bad, ya know, good ear man

  • @rockerdude59

i think its ringo and right after he says "that enough"

  • @rockerdude59 like he says "FUCK OFF THATS THE LAW" if you listen carefully

  • @THUGCODE nice that they leave it when they mixed in 1999 :)

  • Is this mix from Yellow Submarine 5.1 Degrees Of Separation?

  • Very cool!
