@xLoveWolfiex A speedrun is using glitches. Speedrunning is beating the game fast, using glitches makes this faster. And as glitches are in the game, even though it's not intentional, they are part of the game and it is the game you are speedrunning. So why shouldn't glitches be used?

quick question for anyone, how does he get to the end of the game in such short time, do you only HAVE to go to a few temples to get to the end? Are all the other temples just BS for full completion?

@kablamaflama100 For the Light Arrow cutscene to start, the game checks if you have the Shadow and Spirit medallions. Normally these can't be obtained without first finishing Forest, Fire and Water.

But with the use of heavy glitches (Follow link in the description) this is possible.

3 things I don't understand at all

1. How you did that stuff in the BotW without Zelda's Lullaby

2. How you magically squired the Forest, Water, Shadow, and Spirit Medallion

3. How you had the master sword in the first half of the Ganon battle

@gameaddict51 1. If you open the door at 11:55 before the camera gets back into position, you activate a glitch called the "Actor Glitch". This glitch will unload certain objects in the previous room. This includes enemies and the water. That's why he can jump through the water without swimming.

2. He used Reverse Bottle Adventure. If you have a bottle on B, you can combine the value of the bottle content with the item on C-right to create items (Including songs) to your inventory

@gameaddict51 2. In order to activate the Light Arrow cutscene, the game only checks if you have the Shadow and Spirit medallions. These are obtained by having bugs in a bottle on B and the broken biggoron's sword on C-right.

This method is also why he gets other items and songs throughout the run. Please follow the link in the description for more info.

3. By doing a Superslide (Info in the site) you'll be able to keep the sword during the fight.

@SnareDrummer26 It is triggered by having the Spirit and Shadow medallions. These were obtained through the glitch Reverse Bottle Adventure.

If you have a bottle on your B button, you can combine the value of the bottle content with the item value of the item you have on C-right. Depending on which these two items are, you can create different items (Songs included) to your inventory.
