I still got the model that is being used in the video clip, but the tape broke and the motor doesn't work correctly. I did so many recordings with the thing, it is the BEST!
great demo man, thanks a lot! been looking for actually informative demo of the echoplex for a while, somehow didn't find your vid; if you could do more that would be amazing! happy new year
I wish there was less talk and more actual playing on this. Cool echoplex. For the a little more money I would go with the fulltone tte for pretty much every reason. These are still cool, and sometimes cheaper. Sounds great.
EP-3's, along with some of the tricks he used on it. (helped growing up with him in Sioux City huh)? I've got to tell you though, that new Fulltone TTE does
EVERYTHING the old EP-3 does, but
much more clear and quietly.
I've A/B'd them dozens of times, and the Fulltone (being tube), wins hands down.

Good analog delays based on RAM also allow the real-time modulation of delay time. But they are becoming as rare as the Echoplex. :(

Nice. I own one of Tommy Bolin's

Too much time explaining knob twiddling and gimmicks that any other delay can do, and no time spent on the actual EP-3 tone. Typical Gearwire

I love this old stuff, nothing can even compare, no digital or fake tape delay can sound this good. Nice video

Why I can buy this echo?

E-bay. They are vintage, fairly delicate, and expensive.
