  • SUCKALOTTA!!!! LOL

  • Man, this sounds like Bobby Brown's tune DONT BE CRUEL...

  • This TUNE Reminds ME of the EARLY 90's When I Was HOLLYWOOD CLUB HOPIMG !!!

  • Another WHISPERS CLASSIC !!!! No DOUBT !!! This REMINDS Me of the early 90's When I was HOLLYWOOD CLUBING !!!

  • now this was when music was music i dont know what these people call music now and the video is tight

  • wow i feel like dying when ever i hear this powerful one. Oh my God Garba Hussini Ibrahim May your soul rest in perfect peace. And for the other guys of mine lets remember them. Innocent you guys really made our days.

  • They look so fine in this video...I remember this when it came out i was like 6 or 7 years old!

  • I love The Whispers and this song too!!!!...

  • mmm, damn those moustaches were deadly :)

  • Although the song is catchy, I do not like the video. There something deeply sinister about snakes slithering over apples, and the image just will not "mix" with who I am. My heart is repelled. I could not watch this video then, I can not watch this video now. Dont be mad. Its a woman thang. Props to the Whispers, though. I just cant watch it....I just dont like snakes.

  • OMG there's an old VHS of me dancing to this song when i was 3 or 4! shiiiiit :)

  • I always have enjoyed this 1990 R&B track from this legendary R&B singing group, the groove is too funky, quality 90's R&B, definitely!!

  • R.I.P. Robert Brookins ...U BAD 4 EVER

  • The rwins has some THICK mustaches, didn't they !!! WOW !!

  • classic hit

  • i mess with this joint back in the day

  • Yeah me TOO !!!

  • NJS! Was an amazing era!

  • Music will never be like this again unfortunately:( Call me retarded but I could live in the 80's for life. Fun time.

  • I'll gladly be retarded with you, then.

  • I miss the 80's so bad and don't care who knows it! This generation will NEVER know the times & Music that we had. This stuff today is redundant and boring. I play nothing but 80's and my friends say I am nuts. Oh well :)

  • gaddamn what happened to black music. Classy motherfuckers like this,w ith so much skill, replaced by the ghetto trash that defines us now :(

  • I know!!!!

  • oldie but goodie(OLDSKOOL FOREVER

  • GREAT song, thanks for posting it!

  • This song is one of the greatest songs The Whispers ever made. Stationed in Uijongbu, Korea, Soldiers cloed clubs down on this song in 1990 while we were stationed at Camp Red Cloud. This alblum was the 1st CD I ever Purposed when they started (LOL). Still got it to this day. This group is versatile and talented and changed with the times. They just dropped a new 14 Song release in 2007 called "For Your Eyes Only".

  • MarcusRob, EXCELLENT choice. Thanx a million. I'll bet you don't have "All The Way" by the Whispers, do you? If so, it'll be even more greatly appreciated. Thanx.

  • You know, I sure don't but I'm so behind on my video comments, lol, somebody probably already put it up. If not, I'll gladly find it.

  • @marcusrob02 Great memories of the fall of 1990 when this was released...I went and bought the tape.. and i was only 15yrs old then GEEZZZ.. Havent seen this video in years too...DO you think you can post the video of My Heart your Heart?? Love that song and video too..LOL

  • Robbert Brookins the most under rated producer and as a artist as well

  • I saw The Whispers in concert with After 7 at the Fox Theater in Detroit back in late 1990. Great concert! I remember Scotty saying "You're gonna hear some *Sangin" tonight! Notice , I didn't say *Singing*?" Too cool!

  • who was playing the music?? because Lakeside, Shalamar, Dynasty and some times Midnight Star had the same sound. did the same person play the same music for most of the solar bands??

  • Excellent point, SOLAR was probably similar to Motown (The Funk Brothers) in which they probably used the same musicians to play on the tracks for everyone on the label.

  • The reason that the Whispers, Lakeside,Shalamar and Dynasty have a similar sound is due to the fact that they were all on the SOLAR label and the funky production talents of Leon F Sylvers III. The list also includes Midnight Star with production handled by the Calloway Brothers, Klymaxx and Carrie Lucas. Truly funky music.

  • I was surprised that this song from the Whispers came out of nowhere in August-September of 1990 when En Vogue, Bell Biv Devoe, Johnny Gill, Babyface, MC Hammer and others dominated the charts. Very funky song and they could pull it off on that New Jack Swing groove! Later got the album in November of '90--the whole album sounded great! And the Beat Goes On and Rock Steady are still well remembered, but 18 years later, I still love Innocent! Put it right up there with those classics!

  • I remember this song....surprisingly. The "More Of The Night" cassette got alot of play on road trips.

  • I was starting my second year in college in Tallahassee when I saw this video.

  • It's a James Bond styled video!

  • LOL...if he does Im sure some people would love it, but I personally would try to jump him if he touches this track (just not a Timberlake fan )

  • I wouldn't blame you my friend!!

  • Yes..I really wanna strangle Timberlake right now (and all the DJs who play him, especially on urban stations..especially considering how I HATE how he's receiving promotion with how he acted and got a PASS during the whole Janet/Superbowl incident..stupid ass nontalented traiter)

  • @marcusrob02 Amen to that bro.

  • I have listen to "The Whispers" since they first came out, their music is awesome and still very popular, but honestly they can not dance.

  • I love this song. I remember this back in 1990. I was 13. I didn't know who it was until I heard it on the radio that it was The Whispers!!!! I was shocked!!!!! It was back in the time when older artists was jumping on the New Jack bandwagon. Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Stephanie Mills, Earth, Wind and Fire, and other older artists adapted to that sound.

  • amazing music, it got no better than this

  • Summer '90 Jam!!!! Robert Brookins put his foot in this one. The Whispers always kept it consistent. Great post!!!! *thumbsup*

  • OMG. I haven't seen this video since i was about to start first grade. haha. I LOVED THIS JAM.

  • DAAMB!! Thats is Marcus YOu are a old Soul... Living in a young Bodie !! YOu keep taking me back like this and I willbe 16 an HOT again !! I love IT !!!
