I understand the storyline of Kane and Undertaker's parents. According to Paul Bearer's promo in this clip, which I think is from the mid 1990s, Undertaker set the building on fire and murdered the parents. Then why was it such a shocking announcement in 2006 when Kane said his parents died in a fire? Wasn't this something the fans already knew from a storyline that took place 10 years previously?
