What do people find funny about this? Its not against the law in Nebraska for a man and women to apply for a marriage license, even if one or both are gay. What is the point? Omaharoyal, you've blown this out of proportion! I invited Christine to join our Marriage Protest. The video is to shows Nebraska did marry 2 gay people, yet we have same-sex couples who can't marry. Your post is a sympton of Omaha's turf wars. We cannot exclude people how want 2 help our cause here in Omaha. Omaha's gay community should reach out to others who are willing to help, like Christine & Scott. This video is better publicity for us than a 5 sentence blurb we got @ OWH!!!

I dont agree this is a turf war. Our group was there to file paperwork for marriage for 2 people of the same sex. A man & women getting married is not against the law even if they are both gay. The OWH actually had a nice article in the paper (did you read it?) it was more than the 5 lines on the web.
