This is the Toshiba CULV netbook killer, it has Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit, HDMI with smooth 1080p capability thanks to it's intel Graphics card with 1GB of DDR Memory. These laptops are very portable and have a long battery thanks to it's Ultra Low Voltage CPU, can play nice games with Medium settings very well and have a lot of RAM.
The Celeron 743 performs better than Atom Processors in most netbooks, not worst: mydellmini (DOT) com/forum/dell-inspiron-11z/14734-celeron-743-performance.html
I got this NP and im telling ya it's a super mini device it fits any where and it works like a big one.. as for the glossiness it's not that bad i think it give the device a fashionable look
ok guys i got this notebook or laptop or whatever, im telling ya this is a one super mini laptop, i highly recommend it for those who need a efficient and small laptop... as for the glossiness it's not that bad, i think it give the device more like fashion.
Since this is light, small, and has no optical drive, why is this not being labeled as a netbook? Aren't laptops associated with big or heavy and netbooks are light and portable? I'm really confused now. 11.6" isn't that netbook territory?
The only reason why i wouldn't buy it is because I need Win XP and toshiba bios usually don't support XP, e.g you can not change the brightness in XP. Even MacPros 13.3 supports XP. I'm stuck with vista in my A205 and X305!
is it quick for internet sufing and does it have a DVD drive please reply soon!!
many thanks

Toshiba, if this had a backlit keyboard & a dualcore processor, I would buy one straight away.

No backlit keyboards, but they do have dual core AMD processors available for the T11 and T13 series... Just check their website out.

I have 2 questions about the T135D-S1325RD:
1. Does the 4 GB of RAM come in two 2GB cards or one 4GB?
2. Can you use a wireless router to hook up to the internet?
Thanks!

1. in a low cost system like this it will almost undoubtedy be 2x 2GB
2. 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless card- so yes u can use a router to connect wirelessly

nope netbooks are around 10"
and netbooks are associated with slow atom processors while this one features a much faster core 2 processor.
so no wonder toshiba doens't want customers to think of this notebook as a "cheap and slow netbook"

its a laptop because it doasnt go super slow on the internet and it well idk really know

It's very glossy.. I don't know why computer companies do this. I hate glossy finishes. Your mini is better :/
