I've just come back from the 2010 Hanagasa Matsuri. It has been Japan's hottest summer ever and Yamagata nad Niigata the hottest cities there. But I wouldn't have swapped being there for anything in the world. If you had to choose one song and one dance to say what Japan is you need go no further.
