I'll agree with the rest of ya, Menasor is a pretty lame combiner. I will give him credit, though: he's one of the only ones to care about scale.

Yeah, weird nitpick, but look at Bruticus or Devastator. Blast Off and Long Haul should be bigger than the entire rest of the team put together. Menasor is the only one that could potentially exist.

He's still pretty ugly, though.

In my opinion, Menasor is the suckiest of the combiners. I mean, the design is so simple, I mean, the cars stay as cars and just grab to Motormaster. I think that after the hit that became Devastator they tried to create more good combiner, but they failed with Menasor. It's just my opinion, so please don't complain.

@fluffywerewolf98 It was a way of passing safety tests. They didn't have proper ball joints, so it was cheaper to just fuse the legs than to make joints that couldn't be pulled apart by enterprising kids trying to make Dead End do the splits.

I've actually seen this guy sold in web sites I guess they came up with a reissue knockoff of Menasor. Looks like this one though, it comes in the same kind of box from the 80s.

the first lil guys head was busted up quite bad, would be a shame if people thought it looked like that, forgot to flip the silvery bit on dragstrip, camera was shakey when you did te size comparison and I'm pretty sure he has a third piece that clips on between the two black ones in combiner mode, other than that - nice job.

IIRC, Drag Strip is a Tryrell P22. The design was popular in F1 for a time as it reduced drag at the front.

i like extend menasors legs so he is about the same size as bruticus and devastator, the only problem with that is you have to arrange the cars to they are matching transformations, and they are still an eye sore. so i just cover his legs up using scourge and dirge.

Though you don't have him anymore, when you transformed Dragstrip, you forgot to fold back his engine that was in where his seat was(the chrome part). I'm sure it was an oversight and not that you weren't aware of it, but I just noticed and thought I'd comment. And yeah, I miss the individual molds for each limb! Though these are much more simple to transform, the g1 combiners are still my favorite because of that fact. Though I do love Railracer from RID too.

I agree with king Laffo,.. they need to make a modern version of it ,.. with Five , count em Five separate molds! ,.. not like the cheapo rip off of Bruticus and Superion from energon ,.. I love the g1 toys,,, but the whole brick factor puts me off from collecting them again,...even as a combiner , hes a still just a big brick. :( ... so Hasbro ,, pay attention , make an update!!
