I don't think a ground invasion is in US/Israeli/NATO interest, it would indeed be a huge and expensive undertaking in both money and manpower. I think the most logical plan of attack would be launch massive air and cruise missile strikes against Iran with the intention of causing internal dissent among the Iranian population thus setting the stage for peoples revolt against the regime. If successful the US would likely establish a puppet government as they did in Libya and possibly Syria soon.

I'm Iraqi and the reason that the US was able to enter Iraq easily is because the Iraqis were not willing to fight for saddam. Iraqis were untrained, hungry, and sick of saddens regime.
