  • DAYUM.

  • what year is this video? I saw PE in Long Beach in '89 or '90 can't remember which now. anyone?

  • da best ever!!!words dude..

  • this if it is old school friends! greetings from chile

  • before nwa and ice t public enemy invented this new sub genre of rap

  • this is fucking sick!

  • dj tom put your fucking hands up, remix - bring the noise!

  • Best there ever was

  • Holy shit what was that at 0:15, I just about died laughing at the implication of that noise. Total surprise.

  • Man... that's so sloooooooooow!! Anthrax's cover is one thousand times better!!

  • man, theres a reeeally great hiphop book out, where they interviewed Chuck.D of Public Enemy, & also Big Daddy.Kane, Tribe Called-Quest, Cypress Hill, Masta Ace,etc... sooo many of the classic legends...

book i mean is that one that has the title-- HOW ;TO ;RAP

  • They gota do this with Anthrax Again!!!!

  • lmfao @new skool

  • Chuck and Flav are over 50 years old, and will upstage any MC today in a live show

  • YEahhh Bhhoyyy

  • I seen this at the house of blues!!! LOVED IT!

  • @hollygolly68 What year was this show?

  • More like I like rap when you didnt have fools like Weezy making like crying bitch noises on all his tracks.

  • he sucks he should just stay with the sync

  • cool.

  • Hehe he's 50...

  • Wu&P.E is where it`s at fuck the mainstream garbage

  • 0:15 did he fart when he jumped?

  • @sourmilk100 hahha sounds like it, bit i don't think the mic word record that

  • All the kids are white!!! lol

    WOW.

  • @crisoner believe it or not white kids do like to listen to good hip hop!! lol. I am one!!

  • @crisoner Problem with that?

  • tha most ironic thing is that tha most hardcore of old school hip hop fans are white kids and PE's songs were mainly towards black youth. But damn these songs are hyped!

  • This has to be the worst crowd ever. I saw PE when they toured with Anthrax and they can work the crowd, this is a bunch of jaded hollywood asshole.

  • it looks like they're really struggling to get anything out of that crowd, the whole thing sounds quite desperate

  • The original song is the first of metal and rap :P

  • love PE yyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyE

  • I've always hated rap, hip hop, etc buit these guys are fucking awesome!!!

  • @4agzeddy same thing :) still this retards new age shit sucks hard,,,,

this thing has many many remixes

  • @SenorHrvoje

be caerufl witho your words, yo confused me and made me think you were talking about new age genre, which is awesome

  • @ElCharlyMEX I don't like rap so I don't give a shit about my words

  • @SenorHrvoje

you didn't understand me, so let me explain:

"New Age" is a genre, different to rap or metal

and when you said new age, I tought that you were talking about the genre, but you were talking about the New School Rap

Is my explaination well or I will need to explain again?

    A "new age" song: watch?v=6SvxaNQ6d7M

  • @ElCharlyMEX when someone say "new age" first thing on your mind is Ameno?

  • @SenorHrvoje

no man, i put that song because that was the easiest to find, if you want , i can put moe songs

    watch?v=gIicXs-37ak&feature=related

    watch?v=SkZh-3lj3Xk&feature=related

    watch?v=P_70xvrA4i0&feature=related

    watch?v=ad1wFWdmZUs

  • @SenorHrvoje well then why bother saying a word you ignorant shit, next time save yourself the trouble of typeing or watch what you say because it is how people will judge you and you may think it doesn't matter but still!

  • @AceSSRiley Am I the worst person in the world because I don't like rap music? And why am I ignorant?

  • @SenorHrvoje I had never said anything about you being the worst person in the world because I am just an ignorant as you! But you don't care about you own words why do you care about mine? And chuck d sets the standard for socially consciousness in rap. I am a metalhead turned onto rap from when I was just a wee shit and my bro was bangging this song when they did it with Anthrax, this is the real shit! YEAH BOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @AceSSRiley whatever, have fun :)

  • @4agzeddy wth? how can you hate rap/hiphop and like these guys. these guys ARE hiphop! and there are still real artists out there you just gotta go out there and find it

  • @headbangaboogie1 I never said public enemy were'nt hip hop! But music style is a matter of taste. As a general rule I dislike hip hop, but these guys seem to have their own unique style that stands out from the rest. That is why I have time for public enemy and no time for other hip hop groups.

  • @4agzeddy yea but if you like these guys idk why you haven't heard of wu-tang clan (they are so unique i believe they were and are hiphop revolutionaries), or if you really like old-school (which is different from 90's hip hop) beastie boys, afrika bambaataa, LL cool J, pete rock and CL smooth (more of 90's though). basically there is a huge variety in hip hop doesnt matter wht the time is you just have to look for it cuz you wont find the radio industry or mtv playing songs that have meaning

  • @headbangaboogie1 I mainly listen to hard rock/ heavy metal etc. But there are a small handfull of artists that I like that don't fall under the banner of heavy metal and public enemy (along with Beastie boys, thanks for reminding me!) happen to be one of them. 99% of the stuff I listen to doesn't get radio airplay at all either. A true hip hop fan is somebody that has a preference for mainly hip hop groups. I like 2 or 3 hip hop groups but that doesn't make me a hip hop fan.

  • @4agzeddy i get that man, im just saying there's nothing wrong with being a hip hop fan and a metal fan lol

  • Heres the real question: Whos the smart ones who clicked Dislike? This actually has Soul, and a message,a lesson, behind it.

Not like new rap which only focuses on Sex, Influence, Money, and Drugs.

  • remember this from tony hawk pro skater ?

  • Fort Minor rules

  • BASS

  • Notice all the fans are white. lulz

  • I prefer version with Anthrax, lol.

  • Some of the sickest lyrics i've ever heard.

  • is it just me or the croud sucks?

  • @tantanpiter16 L.A. is like that. Im from L.A. and some ppl just suck at concerts.

  • this song is in tony hawk pro skater 2

  • new scoo, BS!

  • FLAVA FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVV

  • flav looks soooo high

  • @mrarticsnow ur a fag

  • One of the top rated hip hop groups of all times

  • the only GOOD rap artist.

  • 0:47 he has a cheese hat xD

  • look at the queer wiggers at the front jumping

  • @johnosandra wouldn't you be jumping?

  • This song sounds so... Empty after hearing the version with Anthrax (the best version IMO)

  • @cipher619 totally agree

  • public enemy l'un des plus groupe de l'histoire du rap yes

  • did he just fart 0:16

  • I'm only really getting int PE now, I feel like a dick for it, but it's amazing that music I would've passed by has the most empassioned lyrics of any kind out there.

  • Chuck D is wearin' my shorts!

  • Can't help but notice there's mostly white faces in the audience

  • @rollo131 rap isn't just for black people, it's music anyone can like it. i'm white and i love heavy metal but i still love public enemy and run dmc

  • @rollo131 Yup and it's been like that for most of PE's career, Chuck said white kids were his main audience, it goes to show how great Chuck was as an MC!! He wasn't down grading white people as a whole he just spoke truth and they respected that!! Chuck is the MJ of rap

  • dude the anthrax version sounds good but this is better :D

  • claaaaaaaaaasic!!!!!!!! Chuck D rooooooooockkkss!!!!!!!!!!

  • not so good without anthrax

  • PB FOREVER NO ONE CAN TOUCH THEM

  • u cant buy class ,anymore,

  • dissing Pac...or Suge, but suge sucks

  • HOW LOW CAN YOU GO? DEATH ROW!

  • REAL LEGEND

    REAL TRIP

    REAL DAYZ

  • Back is the incredible the rhyme animal D! Public enemy No. 1 !!!

  • @TheScoore yoow its terminator x

  • How Low Can You Go!!

  • I don't like the Anthrax version. However, this'd sound a lot better with just Chuck D doing the main verses.

  • Sounds so much better when they both play together. Just listen to anthrax alone and you'll see it doesn't sound any better.

  • Did the dj lose sound and they had to freestyle it on the fly? Where is Terminator X when you need him!

  • sounds better with anthrax

  • public enemy,la kaña!!!

  • THPS 2

  • whos dat people in suitz at back?? :D

  • the banned is better than playback

  • I like seeing my man Professor Griff back with them :D

This is very good sound quality. You don't have the music blowing out the vocals.

  • best hip hop group

    new school sucks

  • @strangentrue if you got the public enemy it takes a nation of millions to hold us back you now that public enemy is new school.

  • PE Best EVER hip hop group- end of story

  • Comment removed

  • @ patricktaylor41 I agree it's alot better with Anthrax.

  • this is GOLD one of the most charismatic groups best live!!

  • his sound is amazine

  • man, what's up with those spams?

  • Advertisers can go suck theyr moms dildo.

  • Man, why isn't there more rap like Public Enemy and NWA anymore?

  • I dunno man, Im mainly into rock and stuff but I think PE are a really great Rap group and I usually hate Rap, they need more stuff like this

  • you sir, are correct the rap/hip hop scene need more stuff like thiss

  • I think its because a lot of their songs have a message behind em, were as a lot of the rap today is just random shit

  • @ohaitharguiz fuckin mainstream took over and our shit went underground.....we gotta bring that shit out onto the radios else ppl gonna get brainwashed n learn to appreciate corporate shit man....

  • Fantastic ... thx 4 upload

    love from germany

  • What year is this?

  • BASSSSSS!!!

  • Man, I miss the days when rap actually had integrity and wasn't just a bunch of interchangeable media whores marking their money off of the mainstream's inability to think for its self.

  • fucking amen ;)

  • well put.

  • Truest WORD ever!

  • Ain't that the damn truth!

  • @HAHAHAUSUCK2 I hear you

  • @HAHAHAUSUCK2 exactly fuckin right in today's sociaty people are afraid to be individduals, its like if m tv says lil wayne is hot they listen to them

  • @HAHAHAUSUCK2 AMEN !

  • love this song, BASS

  • that crowd was quiet as hell lmao...

  • Maybe they were just humoring Public Enemy by being there?

    xD

  • man, I wish I were there!

  • that crowd was LAME!

  • Ya'll don't like benni benassi? hey by the way this ppl r fucking boring ass fans seriously i'm 4rm l.a. and i'm dissapointed!

hey when PE said are u ready to the crowd well i guess they never where ready at all.

  • This video is pro shot so Im sure when this was mixed in post production they didnt really include a lot of audience interaction.

  • kolv003 ciagnie matce pale!

  • that was the most retarded comment in history

no knowledge about hip hop but flaming...

  • Wohoo! :!

  • chujowe:/

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck benni benassi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this crowd was disgraceful. Left PE hanging. Normal people would have gone wild during such an amazing perofrmance.

  • That crowd was pathetic.

  • What the hell was that?

Why did i even click here?

  • Back in the day ppl used to be able to perform live.this actually sounds just as good as it does on record.Plus no forgetting of lyrics is good too

  • fuck that crowd man

  • Good, but Anthrax really did do an amazing job of remixing it. Sounds much better with them. And plus, the crowd is dull as fuck, I'd be screaming my lungs out if I saw these guys.

  • I know, man, don't these people know they're being disrespectful by NOT going wild?

  • One of the best albums ever made.

  • wow just sing the song why backup music?

  • wheres anthrax?

  • They covered the song Later with Public Enemy after hearing they laid tribute to them in one of their songs by mentioning the band name "Anthrax".

  • This is REAL rap. Not like that loser 50 cent. God, 50 cent is a douche bag. That movie he made about himself pissed me off.

  • Chuck-D is the fucking mack. And, although Flava-Flav is a fucking crack-head, I do love his lovely cheese hat.

  • Your'e fucking right. It's THE NOISE. The only noise that matters...

  • i find it rather funny... my dad knows these guys=]

  • you have to think about the time which these two songs were recorded

  • Fuck you, narc.

  • Those guys are right. I wouldn't want to be playing for such a dull-ass crowd either. I mean jesus stand up and scream your lungs out. You're at a concert ffs.

  • This sounds a lot slower w/o Anthrax. This isn't the good version of the song, it's boring w/o Anthrax in it.

  • anyone think its better with anthrax, i like this but im a metalhead so you know, anthrax rocks it up

  • Hell yeah

  • I heard the version where Anthrax joins them first, so now when i hear it, it justs sounds like somethings missing. Still better than todays rap

  • Public Enemy did, Scott from Anthrax wore a PE shirt during a concert, and they saw it, so they contacted each other and did a CD together.

  • u shoould be ashamed it was public enemy

    YEEEEEEEAAAAAAH BOOOOOOOOY

  • public enemy, anthrax did the remix

  • Public Enemy

  • LOL ? its a public enemy classic

  • wtf it's that ? realy noise

  • Of course he didn´t!!!! He`s to gay to write good songs°!!
