any RPG fan of the EPIC's that where have to play this. It's EPIC. and if had to pick for the CLASSIC feel you would want to go with the GBA version over the DS any day. Do i care for graphics no i care for gameplay an story that was a EPIC RPG is nothing more needed. =) an the 80's an 90's ROCK'ed !

Old-school first person RPGs are damn awesome, and one where you can actually walk about on a world map, in Final Fantasy-esque? Oh God. Count me in.

I have the DS version, though, but I'm sure I'd like this one more. There's just something about walking around in pseudo-3D dungeons...

no, you're totally right. the first time i watched this video, i watched about half a minute and thought it was some sort of 1st person shooter for some reason. I think I was having a grumpy day...

actually WATCHING the whole video this time, without being too quick to judge, i definitely see what you mean.

In short, you are right and i'm not that ignorant. I'm pretty sure i was just misdirecting anger at something else entirely.

on a side note, it seems like nowadays everything is labeled rpg. it gets really frustrating when you're looking for a "correct" or "old-fashioned" rpg. (in example, final fantasy 6 or lufia 2)

i know there's no point in posting this type of comment here. i'm just venting.

In fact, this game is MORE old-fashioned than Lufia 2 or FF6. It is inspired by great PC RPGs of the 80's (early Ultima games, Bard's Tale etc.) which were created before anyone had even heard of Final Fantasy. If you look at many old 8-bit jRPGs (Megami Tensei, Phantasy Star etc.) you will see that in many ways they look a lot more like Mazes of Fate than Final Fantasy...

The game comes with English, French, Italian, Spanish and German languages built into the game. The manual is however only in English.

The language selection is because this game was made in Argentina (Sabarassa is from Argentina), where people speaks Spanish, so they wanted the game in spanish as well, so they decided to make it multilanguage... I'm from Argentina and am so proud of it, first argentinian game for a Nintendo console, MoFDS is coming next month!
