  • she's living three streets away from us now :)) most beautiful interpretation.

  • too much gay.

  • fabulous! Quite, quite different...so theatrical and not an inch or unrequired bare flesh to be seen!!

  • I am so happy that you have posted this video. I've seen it when I was a young girl and loved it! This click is part of a longer video with various ballets and ballet classes. Can you be so kind to tell me how can I get it/buy it?

  • Can you tell me how I can found out where and when Radchenko's company is dancing in the US?

  • In her place, I think I'd have chosen the guy in the red jacket. He's a bit cuter than the other one.

  • I'm glad she finally found a partner she was satisfied with!

Seriously, though, even though the vid didn''t translate to utube perfectly without any body distortion, this is the best & most hypnotic interpretation of Bolero I've ever seen. Love it

  • Could be one of the first uses of "TALK TO THE HAND!" at 3:30

  • Yes,great conducting,but it's badly filmed.

  • Liked Torvil and dean better

  • @doolie--

It's a bit silly trying to compare this full-fledged ballet production of Bolero with torvil & dean's ice-dance duet to the music -- like comparing apples & oranges. Both renditions are on my Favorites list

  • This is a great ballet. Saw this version on a DVD awhile ago and couldn't remember which one. Glad I can watch whenever I want. Thank you

  • thank you for uploading the video !

  • 1986 or even 1987 Sege Radchenko become an Artistic Director of The "Moscow Festival Ballet" not at 1976 .I was one of co-founder of that Company as Well .

  • beautiful production....but....the tempo of Bolero is too fast! It loses some of its seductivity with this quickened pace

  • thank you thank you thank you ...this is my all time favorite video clip of Bolero..it was one of the main things of why I went to the Library while in college back in the mid 80's. I would check out this video and play it while sudying. Ihad no idea I would ever find ever again and here it is ...it is beautiful and the dancing had been a fantasy for me all these years since I first saw this...I am fulfilled...muchos gracias

  • I'm happy you liked it. They are such gifted artists.

  • @jkircher314

Thanks alot for this video. Finally something good among the trash i found here on YouTube!

    again thanks!

  • They both were the great "Spanyards" of the Bolshoi. Thank you for sharing!

  • I recently saw Radchenko's company. They were excellent.
