Might be true, but I'd point out that the Mark II's flown by the Galactica during the Cylon War were white with red striping.

Wow, this looks really awsome!Like it came straight out of the show. I would prefer it though, if the top fin was to point back, like with the original viper mk2

Looking back, it might look better that way. But I turned it to match the forward swept wings.

ok, so last night i could not get a proper comment in, beacuse youtube was doing sight maintenance, it sure is looking really good, detail is awesome, the red head sure is a nice touch ; ) i think it goes well with the red stripes on the Viper, so what Makes the Colonial Viper a concept over your standard Viper?

Actually, Ace, ALL Vipers from BSG would be considered Colonial Vipers.

The "concept" part comes in this being a Mark 3 Viper, which we never saw in the series.

Key differences between the Mark 2 and Mark 3 are the forward swept wings, airfoils, and relocated guns

im guessing the forward swept wings increase Agility in some sort of atmosphere, and the additional cannons add Firepower.

You're right about the wings.

There aren't any additional cannon, though. I just moved them to midwing instead of up by the fuselage
