Could you please do some remixes from Okami? It sounds like you get your intro tune that starts most of your music videos from that same game. ;) Am I right about that?
@ANTICITlZEN This is from the 1990 NES/Famicom game "Ducktales", one stage played on the moon & this was the theme to that stage. it was quite popular back when I was in kindergarten.
@SteamedSandvich He won't. Why? Rubberfruit's videos are funny, yes, but there are simply some things in this world that can't be used to make fun of something. This beauty here is a good example.
Just want to throw this out in the open... This is the best rendition I have heard of this song... But the NES didnt use Cmaj or Cm. It used a custom string. 1,3,7. They left out 5 to create a distinct sound that is very versatile. Remake in same manner? Would be absolutely awesome =D
Are you going to make the MIDI file available for download? I have a Orchastration that is MIDI converted that I would like to adapt this to play on if you dont mind!
Wow! That was truly wonderful and I sincerely mean that. That was so pleasant and enjoyable to listen to. Pleasing to the ears for any NES duck tales enthusiast. I sure wish I had the talent to devise a piece like that. You have my esteem kudos and humble thanks for the development and world-class partaking of that magnum opus.
This is the best rendition of The Moon I have ever heard. I've listend to just about every version of this I've seen on youtube and this just blew me away. I especially loved the ending. Bravo!
@MusicalWolfe That depends on which version your talking about bro. I head orchastrated versions that were bad, but I will say that there is a orchastrated version that surpases this one (no offence). This is definatly one of the better remixes on youtube.
if the rights were yours i would honestly buy this song. this is ridiculously well-made. even without having played the game it's from you can sense the feeling of floating and flying... amazing.

"better sound quality" is relative. I submit as evidence the lost enigmatic quality present only in the 8-bit version.
Donaldo 1 year ago
@Donaldo "better sound quality" as in it gives the audio stream a larger amount of bandwidth, so that the instruments sound more like they did when I composed them.
Yes, the original 8-bit version was amazing. This is my orchestrated take on it and it's best listened to with the clearest sound possible.
Sorry the enigmatic quality of the original was lost on you. I tried my best to carry some of it through, especially in the ending.
MusicalWolfe 1 year ago
@MusicalWolfe I knew what you meant, I was just being snarky. Probably though my comment came out sounding a little more disparaging than I meant it. I'm happy with your outcome, but perhaps I was also feeling that the constraints and limitations of the NES APU needed someone in its corner!
