We went in December 2010 for Christmas. It wasn't that bad! There were certain areas that were busier than others, but we never had any issues. I want to go back at Christmas time again. I loved it. Sorry you all didn't get to enjoy it. :(

I mean i lived in florida (not even an hour away from disney) both my parents worked there for over 24 years and after a very little time of being in the park you start to understand how to move around people.. I know many people go there around christmas.. alot of people actually but..yeah its not that bad if u get fast passes for the rides you know are going to take forever with, then you go on the rides with short lines. not that hard. :)
@skArpPT Umm...actually Magic Kingdom is 23% bigger than Disneyland, and it's more crowded because it's the most visited Disney theme park in the world. While I do agree with you Florida blows (in general...not the park itself), because I lived there for 22 years, your comments are without fact...seems like you hate it because you live in Orlando. They should have like a limit or something to how many people can get in there. It's basicaly a huge zoo with roller coasters and a crazy big dragon land. if it's for the younger ones tampa will blow their minds. disney will bore em.

My family went to WDW in Florida on Christmas morning some time in the late 70's and the park was deserted! We literally walked right on the biggest attractions with no lines at all. We could and did go on each ride multiple times in a row. I think too many people tipped off to go on Christmas, lol.

The best time to go is early December. Pretty much all schools are still in and usually in Demember it starts to get a little colder, but i went this year at that time and everything was a 5 minute wait. Oh and never ride "Its a Small World" yeah that ride might have a short wait time but its the worlds longest ride with the same damn song over and over and over!! So dont do it!!

Christmas is a great time to go because all the stuff they have up. However, trying to accomplish anything during the day is impossible. You're looking at 70 min. plus wait times. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge though and took advantage of the Extra Magic Hours available to the guest. Thats the key to doing things. We had rides that we litteral walked right of and just jumped back on. Magic Kingdom was the best staying open until 3 a.m. However, they don't do the shows.

Lol i know what you mean i went at Christmas the Year b4 you and it is a nightmare but in all honesty christmas day and new years day were the only SUPER bust days, most the time it was okay and you get on more rides than summer. ^^

This is what it was like at WDW in April. x_o The only time that I'll ever be able to go to Disney World in my whole life, and it was packed. We just decided to go on the rides we don't have here in California.

The best time to go is early December. Pretty much all schools are still in and usually in Demember it starts to get a little colder, but i went this year at that time and everything was a 5 minute wait. Oh and never ride "Its a Small World" yeah that ride might have a short wait time but its the worlds longest ride with the same damn song over and over and over!! So dont do it!!

The best time to go is right when school starts. I have experienced this by going to Disneyworld as a kid and working there as an adult. It's almost deserted, and very nice. :D

Christmas is a great time to go because all the stuff they have up. However, trying to accomplish anything during the day is impossible. You're looking at 70 min. plus wait times. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge though and took advantage of the Extra Magic Hours available to the guest. Thats the key to doing things. We had rides that we litteral walked right of and just jumped back on. Magic Kingdom was the best staying open until 3 a.m. However, they don't do the shows.
