you should have protect on lanturn, as if he got a crit, or didnt flinch for that matter, you would have lost. just a suggestion though, depends on its other moves :) x
Interesting. I think he switched to Registeel and Metagross too early, even then though an Explosion would've been well resisted by Empoleon and Tyranitar.
Speaking of which, Physical Empoleon and Special Tyranitar and pretty rare.

I agree, I was very surprised when his Tyranitar used Dark Pulse. Still, it did substantial damage, seeing as Tyranitar are more physically oriented.
