  • My drama team is dancing to this for my church:D It's amaing.

  • I was there. Its was pretty phenomenal.

  • This was really well done. And I can see the point. But...I really wish there was a resolution. A good, solid one that didn't seem to make Satan have the final say. I understand it was to make them think I don't want to be like that. But it kind of seems like once you've gone astray you can't be welcomed back and Jesus can't save you. But it's not true. But I have got to say this team did some REALLY good stuff in here. Especially the main girl. Crazy agility, all that falling! Kudos!

  • @BrightlyWoundAutumn

Just commenting on . But it kind of seems like once you've gone astray you can't be welcomed back and Jesus can't save you

I didnt get that from the Drama because it had nothing to do with Jesus not being able to save her but all to do with she didnt want to be saved because it seemed like the Enemy had more to offer so when Jesus came to her she turned her back to him.

But i agree they did do an amazing job and am pumped cause this is what we are working on now!

  • @Godzdisciplle Sorry this took so long. I've been busy. Sweet, is your youth group doing it? And for what?

No....yeah, I get that. I just like resolutions that show the freedom at the end, I guess. But I can totally see what you're saying.

  • this very similair to the evrything skit (lifehouse skit) but a bit more violent .. equally powerful

  • wow

  • why so much violence? i thought religion is meant to be all peaceful?

plus this song has NOTHING to do with jesus im afraid...sorry

  • You guys should check us out on YouTube synergy_evanescence_youtube1080.mp4

  • This skit is awsome you guys should check us out at clc shorewood I am apart of a drama team at christian life center in shorewood check us out at synergy_evanescence_youtube1080.mp4

  • can i meet you guys

  • that was...AMAZING

my jaw dropped to the floor!

  • i think its wonderful if you can take a secular song, and something of the world and use it to glorify God.

  • umm it was good! but the fact that it is a secular song is wrong! you don't want to bring worldly music into the house of god!

  • actually they were a christian band first and let's not nit pick whne people are trying tobring a good message...its like when jesus healed on the sabbath technically it was against the law but there is a higher law

  • Actually, Amy Lee wrote that song while having a spiritual struggle. God inspires his majesty in all things, especially music, regardless of whether it's "Secular" or "Christian." Think before you judge, or better yet, don't judge at all.

  • @XschindlerX

God does not take second hand material! He said Sing a NEW Song Unto the Lord! Not a song that was written in glorification of the devil. Secular Music is of the World, Remember that! It is not for God. How can we as Christians Give God something that was not written for his glory. God cannot use the devil to win people for his name it only gives them a reason to Compromise the Word of God to satisfy themselves!!! You should try to read your word and ask God about This Music!

  • @TheSuapaia "...glorification of the devil"...? Did you not read what I wrote above? It's "Christians" like you that make me worry. What if someone struggling with their faith came to you, and all you had to say to them was ignorant garbage like the stuff you wrote above? You are either by far and away one of the most foul, ignorant, hypocritical snakes alive or a total troll who's simply trying to get a rise out of me. Either way, don't reply; your rhetoric sickens me.

  • @XschindlerX

I am not saying to turn away anyone who comes to us for help. If they are stuggleing in the spirit, yes of course we help them. I was trying to say that God said for us to be set apart. A music artist imparts their spirit into their music, if they have a demonic spirit it is just best to stay away from it, because what you listen to not only affect you physically but spiritually! Look up the truth behind Hip-hop by G.Craig Lewis and U'll understand what I mean By Influences of Msc

  • @TheSuapaia Who are you to judge an person as having a "demonic spirit"? You wanna talk theology: "Why do you point out the splinter in another's eye when there is an entire plank of wood in your own?" You know who said that? Jesus did. His point? Don't judge, 'cause you've got your share of problems, too. Amy Lee is an amazing artist, and the songs on her first album reflect her struggling and trying to come to terms with her faith. Bottom line: take your judgment elsewhere.

  • @TheSuapaia And just in case you didn't notice: this ENTIRE SONG is her crying out to GOD to revitalize her spirit. How, pray tell, is that even REMOTELY "demonic"? I've done this song NUMEROUS times in church (I'm a contemporary worship leader), and it has touched the hearts of many. Your closed-minded mentality and blatant ignorance shock and appall me.

  • @XschindlerX WOW I am a worship leader also, and we also had once used this song for a skit. It wasn't my idea to use but the youth leader at the time thought she could use it. Any how now days pretty much all secular artist use the word god in a song, but how do we know which god they are singing to? Some artist are hindu, budist, kabalh, satanist, alah, and who knows what else. Lets just continue to Uplift Jesus and only Jesus.

  • @TheSuapaia If a secular artist uses the word "Jesus" or "God" too blatantly, then they are not allowed to record those songs, or their popularity dives. I'm not saying they should shy away from their faith or take into account popularity and fame, but I'd sure rather that the message of God's power and healing be told to the masses who DON'T regularly listen to or care about God. And yes, she is talking about God, Jesus Christ; listen to "Tourniquet," and you'll he her cry out to "Christ."

  • @tbb3815 actually this is a christian song about amy lee struggle with personal demons!! and how the power of god brought HER back to life!

  • @tbb3815

    Amen!!!
