Well, Brothers and sisters 40 years ago, when I joined the the UBC as a Millwright,it stood for United Brotherhood of Carpenters.Now, it stands for Unified Backstabbers and Cutthroats.Last year ,I was taken up on chargesof "allegedly" threatening the B.A.I placed charges against him for age discrimination and denying me the right to work.Who was found guilty,expelled and fined $500 ???

union officials continue to ignore the problem with illegal immigrants sneaking into the union by using fake or borrowed documents in turn taking union jobs. the union must verify legal status, eligibility to work in the US and mandate pictures on union cards throughout the US. it must be done on a national level otherwise the problems will continue persist. the call for change will not stop here.

I am in the Carpenters Union Council of a particular State, and Unionism is the down fall of our economy... Just a breeding ground for corruption... We are gong to bring down the Union from with in, just wait.. im a chicago union carpenter and have been for 25years and been unemployed for 6mos now. I qualify for nothing, unemployment i make $4 over the cutoff for any other service( ceda,food stamps etc.) We are hurting big time here in Chicago and the union is kicking us too the curb. I going to take a early retirement from this bullshit and cut my losses.

Every organizers will loss their jobs at the end of December...so whats really going on here. Oh and why we are in the yellow.

I was close to this union that practices anti-union tactics and strategies "led" by for McCarron. He had and used an "Organizing Plan" hiring hundreds of staff as "Organizers" that became delegates, staff and not rank-and-file, in a clear case of conflict of interests, and were bought out, manipulated and forced to go for McCarron's agenda to take absolute control of the whole 'Union."
