Wonderful rendition. And even more wonderful is the ' from Giacomo Puccini's opera "Turandot" (not really a rolehe considers performing), recorded in June 2008.' part.
You obviously know how to not hurt your voice. Stay with light Belcanto for Opera and do this only in recitals...
Michael, everytime I hear you sing this song, I cry. All you ever wanted to do when you were little was to sing with your soul and touch the lives of people. Your Uncle Mike is up in heaven praising you. Bravo young nephew. Dad and I are so proud. Thank you for sharing your gift. Love Mommy
You must be the proudest of parents! I´ve just returnedfrom hearing your son perform in Bad Wildbad.I am an opera going veteran, and I have not heard a tenor voice as beautiful in many years.Listening to him can become addictive and his countless fans are eagerly awaiting recordings. I guess his voice can even beautify heaven
you have a vocal gift beyond amazing. to me, your voice ranks with the best. i'll be keeping an eye out for new additions here on youtube.
about this particular video: either the balance is distored because of poor recording device or the the orchestra goes bananas in the ending climax. I really don't find that kind of nuance necessary.
kudos for making yourself heard over that kind of sound wall.
Second aria I've heard from him. Why are we not hearing more about him? This is a superb talent!

Except for his way of dressing and messing up the lyrics, his voice is very good, although not for Calaf.

Super!!!

He seems to have the making of a great new international tenor. Better than Paul Potts? Yes!
bernard1422 2 years ago 2
Potts is not an operatic singer. Of course Spyres is better, there's no possible comparison!
