Travis Barker is a moderately talented drummer.. more flashy style than talent..thats what these kids get caught up on. As far as rock drummers go, he wouldnt even crack the top 25 since 1980.

Technique, he plays the snare real low on the ghot notes, his acccents are exactly that, crack The dynamic is created when you play low like that, then when you outch the rim and the head at the same time, that crack is the sund you get, the stick doe not have to come way up on the upstroke to get the power.....hes a great player man, I love his style. Thats a top version also..

actually the bass drum is "hung" from the rack, and the entire frame tilts back at an angle. A high-back chair attaches to the frame as well and everything is tilted back to improve ergonomics.
