I always thought it had the sounds and rhythms of some forms of Greek music and done by Maire(pronounced Moya) Brennan who also did Harry's Game as far as lead vocals makes it better.

Magical, beautiful & glorious song. The Brennan girls! Have always liked this with its bittersweet start & then just those wonderful la la la la lah lah's. Makes me smile & sing along. Wish there was a video from the studio for this little-known piece of musical genius. Sounds like the Brennan girls were all smiling as they sang. And that final flourish of joy. Special!

Moya is amazing! I think this song is really beautiful with its driving rhythm, the catchy choral melody and Moya's resplendent voice. This song is one of those that sing to myself inside my head. :)
