i had the 7 side to the bottom and then begun to orient myself using a simplyfied version of the F2L method. but when i reached the last layer i got stuck big time. and then i finaly decided to do the FRU(RUF) move i mesed up my two layers . i guess that means that my 2 first layers wasnt correct or i made a big mistake somehow ... s i am using both cubes first the color one just to make sure the move feels right before trying it on the soducube .
I know that there are a few different cubes and layouts from the piles of cheap 100 yen cubes I saw, so I wonder if you could have a case like with the void cube where you have to jumble up the middles to put it into a solvable state (M U M U' M' U' M' U2 M).
@felipesmaland You can reorient a single corner easily enough (you would have at least 2 corners not oriented correctly in this case; put the corner in question in the front top left and repeat U' R' U R until it is, then use L to cycle through the corners that need solving). You can orient multiple edges too, but not a single one (though you would have to solve the corners after the edges in this case)
i have the same cube.. i soved it 3 years ago an tried again now but i just dont get it,, it has 4 sides so how do i figure out the verikal and horizontal lines? and how do i figure out what direction the numbers should be positioned on each side?
@felipesmaland When I did it, I remembered what one face should be (the one with the 5 in the middle). From there I can work out the rest of the cube based on orientation of the other faces, but the last layer still gives me trouble once in a while (it shouldn't in theory but I have a hard time discerning if a piece is just oriented wrong or genuinely in the wrong spot)

@felipesmaland Did you mean FRU(R'U'F')?
