There is no cohesive melody to be heard. Just a bunch of exercises and licks. I guess it was cool that they let this guy sit in but NOT up to 55 Bar par.

@sunshineguitarable - I guess we have different opinions on what melody is. My definition of melody is a string of notes that have musicality and rhythm. He is playing note after note after note. It sounds more like practicing scales to a metronome. no groove and no melody. You should listen to the Beatles. The Beatles are the DEFINITION of melody.
