I cringed when the interviewer said he was at his peak, even before I saw him react. I can't imagine saying that to someone, especially someone so young, since you're saying that it's all downhill from there. Bleah! And the tight closeup, the lighting and his slow, quiet responses make him seem extra young and kind of vulnerable. That and yes, he looks high. I never would have noticed any of this as a 17 year old in 1984. Interesting to see this video now.
I remember the Duran Duran whirlwind....the histaria the music the no. one band in the world being in Toronto when the Reflex video footage shot at Maple Leaf Gardens nearly getting hit by the Duran Duran limos behind MLG on my way home that night seeing the reflex costumes coming out of the trunk (the black and white jacket and the red jacket) worn by Simon and Andy....crazy memories..LOL!!!
Does anyone know when this period was when Simon and John weren't talking to each other for 6 months to a year?
This interview is in '84, and '81-'84 were pretty jam packed for them, I'm just wondering when this conflict could have taken place, I'd be curious to know.

I fell for him at 13... I'm 36 now and my husband still gets jealous over him! HAHAHAH! :) have been going to concerts in the passed 5 years and even whilst pregnant! I also appear in the live tour DVD! yey! What can I say.... first love never dies!
