hey men...plz give me the name of all your cymbals that u use on that tape.....im gone to purchase new cymbals and thats wre the perfect combination for mee ;;; thks.........and u wre awesome ..good
bro u r a god at drummer how many years of experience r u at? idk if my drum teacher can do that and hes at 20! he probably can but idk! thats some hard stuff! ur gonna be like neil pert maybe some day if u keep practicin!
thank you for your kind words :) I've been playing about 9 years or so... and just recently started going on drum lessons once again! It's very inspirational.
haha no problem i hav random ppl tell me like "oh i wanna c u on mtv in like 10 years" and i dont even know them so its really well i guess u can say heart warming XD
dude can you like post a link where i can buy one of those ribbon crashers ive checked multiple sites like thomann and i just cant find one like that. they all seem to be a completly diffrent shape so im unsure about buying one.
China sounds awesome, I'm jealous. :) I've never hit one myself, can you describe the sound/feel in comparison with the previous Wuhan you used? The HHX sounds warmer, washier, with less attack, is that what it's like in person?
It sounds amazing in real life. If you hit it lightly it sounds stupid. If you hit it hard it sounds just badass. It sounds gongy when you hit it lightly and if you stick a moongel on it, it gets rid of some of the sustain and these are way way way better than any wuhan china. Wuhan china's sound good, but don't have ENOUGH sustain and they're too quiet. hhx chinas are definately worth the money.
Like JakeSmaszcz said, it sounds amazing ;) The HHX definitely has more sustain than any Wuhan china I own. Wuhans are more trashier and aggressive than the HHX. It sounded a bit weird first but when I got used to it, it's the only china I want to use :D you can play it soft or loud and it will sound awesome! and all those things you described, it does sound like that in person.
thanks a bunch! my biggest influence is food. keeps me alive. nah, just kidding! ...probably my teachers and drummers like Tomas Haake, Gavin Harrison, Benny Greb.. it's a big list and keeps on growing :)
I chose the Legacy hats over the evolution and stage hats. The evolution hats were a bit too "heavy" for my musical style (but that doesn't mean I would buy them some day) and the stage hats just didn't work with the rest of the cymbals.
since they are all HHX cymbals, I guess the price tag would the same for all of them. but if you're a hard hitter and play more heavier stuff, the Evolution hats would be great. Legacys are more "jazzy" cymbals.
Nice set of cymbals! I have an all AAX setup right now but I'm slowly replacing some of them with some HHX. First thing is a HHX power ride. Next I think will be some 14 Stage hats. I would also like to try an o-zone.
im on the look out for a new ride and the hhx power ride sounds really good from the description but i still havent heard it yet. would you be able to post a video sound test of it plz?
The one on my right is Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 and the one with the front view is Sony HDR-CX11E. The sound is from the sony footage so it has that crisp quality compared to my old videos with panasonic :)
Oh sorry for the dumb question. Im on ipod pocket utube version so could not c the video details. Hehe. Gotta figure out how to get thus cymbal to brazil now :/ shame i didnt know it last month coz i spent 2 months in the US. Tty bro

its good to see a really good drummer use Sabians. You don't need high end Zildjians to get a freaking awesome sound
chekkitProductions 2 years ago
wtf, that sounds like zildjians are the only chice for high and cymbals. Zildjian isn't the best brand.
Every company has beginner cymbals and high end cymbals. The name zildjian says nothing if it is then only a ZBT...

@clackerz thanks, nice cymbals. what kinda music do you think the cymbals are best with?
spitball301 2 years ago
maybe rock and heavy? they do have that nice dark tone. But I think you could play those cymbals with any type of music. They are very versatile :)

if you have a right technique your cymbals should last forever no matter how hard you hit them ;)
I'm not a hard hitter but I think these cymbals will last at least 10-15 years with me!

I've heard only soundclips of the HHXPlosion crash but I think the Stage crash is a bit lower in pitch.
