if you don't mind me asking, how did you get the pro2's and pct pistons to clear? did you have to get a thick headgasket or shave the valve relief cuts a little or was there no problems with them running together? i've got the same pistons and wanna run pro2's also
saintmatt46 is correct, pro2+ should idle like stock, pro1+ duration/lift is what idles lopey like that, they are most likely dialed in this way because of valve to piston clearance restrictions on this particular motor. whatd this car make for trq? and what is the bore?

I have a GSR and am looking at getting Skunk2 Pro1 cams. Does your cam hit Vtec harder(sound wise) than stock? I read that the pro series cams have a seamless crossover...? Do they still hit Vtec hard?
Well I guess it depends what you want out of them, like any cam I guess. But if they are dialled in to skunk2 specs they will idle fairly stock. Nice looking car though mate :)
@BostjanDC2 Yes, they should idle close to stock - not uneven as they are in ur video. Did you follow the degree instructions from skunk2? If not, your clearances v2v will be a bit tight - more than likely.

@BostjanDC2 Well, they won't idle stock, but there should not be a surging effect to the idle such as is demonstrated in the vid. I run pro 2's in my b18c1 84x95 setup and it is a relatively smooth idle (although, not a stock idle).

The idle qualtity should be better im running pro2's with 13:1 Compression. I bought the belben camshaft degree kit. Makes dialling cams real easy
